I have recently been made aware of a strain that I didn't know existed, so I'm putting it here for the thread :

Greenbay - Velveeta Breath X Bangers and MAC

!!!! How lovely this sounds.... I had no idea there even was a Velveeta Breath but WOW.

I had a cheese strain i hunted from 2 packs from 710 genetics. This pheno was RANK!! Smelled like a gym locker room after a football game played in the rain. I killed her off, no one wanted her, and it didn't make any sense to keep her in the rotation. LOUD, dense, frosty nuggets of rank.
Lol

Bro.... You just described the definition of bag appeal....Aren't you in the Mitten too ?? Like how in the heck did you have some dank Cheese and no one wanted it ??? Fuck bro you could have stuck a fan on that and aimed it out the window....Eventually I would have showed up like a cartoon character floating to a pie in the window....

F6 is considered IBL and should show you very tight consistency within phenos...Fact is tho this type of breeding rarely exists in today's market.. Most ppl I think prefer the F1 for vigorous plants and f2s for the pheno hunts.. You can find a few guys running strains up to f6 and beyond but I don't think many ppl are beating down there doors for it..In my personal opinion...with the huge diversity in today's market and ease of access to most any strain you can imagine...going past even the f1 generation is going to be a waste of time for most breeders
what about Auto's know some breeders that are taking auto's to F-5's + ? thoughts just got some Mutant genetics 'citrus bubble gum" and another from Gnome Seeds that are F-6's (they are saying 1lb in a 15 gallon and 7 oz's in a 5 gallon consistently ??? guess I will find out Out of all my years never no cheese grown ! so, so many to choose from

Yes, se michigan. I kept her around for 5+yrs. I may have moved 5 clones a yr. She was 1 of 3 of the loudest strains I've ever grown.

Oh man...... Now I feel like I've missed out.... Shit how did I not end up knocking at your door itching like a crack head....

Bro Cheese produces so good it's ridiculous... Pick one you like the sounds of and give it a go :) I legit have never seen a Cheese cross that didn't produce giant amounts of nuggets. The easiest to grow is generally Blue Cheese, but you should have no problem pulling a pound off a plant around 5 or 6 feet. Even the multitude of new Cheese strains I ran this past season all filled jars and bags with some of the finest bud on the planet.

Some of the guys here that grow Skunks also seem to end up with them giant tops, so it must be somewhere in that lineage. My guess is the Afghani influence that I'm confident the original Skunk had.

To give you an idea; I can stick Blue Cheese seedlings or clones outside here in Michigan, and essentially leave them. I give them water and Nutes, and sometimes cut lower branches off, and then harvest. It's naturally pest and mold resistant, and doesn't care when it's cold either.

Pot size, lights used, co2 (yes or no), medium, nutrients, and grower experience play a huge factor in harvest weight. I can pull 3/4lb with 1x 315 cmh (air cooled good and co2) with my darlins net strain. This has been repeated for years. 1/2 of my room was dedicated to Darlins net specifically. My flower room was 4x 315 (ac hoods), 1400ppm co2, 4.5g pots, ffof soil, technaflora nutes plus amendments (NO pgr's), new bulbs after 3 runs. 2 layers of trellis netting, defoliate 2 weeks before flip, defol 3 weeks after flip. Defol 1 week before chop. 65-69 day flower cycles. Shut down room for 5 days, then move veg plants into flower room. Repeat for 10yrs.

You got some info on Darlin's Net ? I haven't heard of that before.

By the way do you ever toss a few plants outside ? You said you were near by, and it's totally legal to do that. I know from experience Cheese crosses LOVE our climate; The only real downfall other than those wind and rain storms we get each year, that can knock off branches pretty easy sometimes. And of course when Fall starts, that humid with no breeze at night thing can take a toll too, but that's easy enough to render with chopping any bud rot off, or, if it spread fast, that branch off.

Darlins net (Dan's buds (RIP icmag legend). This is HIS personally hunted phenotype. She must be topped numerous times or she will just grow a couple massive colas. I can squeeze 3 or her in 4.5g pots in the same spot as 2 other strains in the same 4.5g pots.

She was bred for pain management. I've used this strain many many times to help ppl kick opioid addictions. I'm 9 for 13 so far. I also made a tincture of DN for a past knee surgery (meniscus repair). I took 60 doses (90mg/dose) in 3 days, BUT never took a single pain pill.

Darlins net is gg4 x dmt. I'm not sure what the dmt cross is/was.

I grew 3 OD monsters 3yrs back. Tag-alongs, apples and Bananas, and grease monkey. Everything looked great until chop time. Gm and A/B were full of bud rot. The tag was near perfect. I just trashed all 3 as I was fn pissed. Michigan has shitty weather come October. Reason why I'm doing autos this run. Sow in May, chop in August.

I'll fire up the cmh this winter and do indoor autos and see what magic I can work.

Bro that's great! For myself personally with two slipped discs in my spine, I literally thought I was going to be stuck on Dilauded and other pills for the rest of my life, and Weed did NOT help. Like at all... I was one of those "all weed is weed" people because I'd see how people smoking that didn't have the issues I did. But I never could do it.

That all changed the day an ex buddy of mine called me up and needed a ride around for a bit. As we're driving around, he's like "Hey, I need to stop at this place before we hit the freeway...This dude has some Blue Cheese and he's giving me some" so we stopped over there, and he runs in, and comes out with this weed I've NEVER seen before... The smell alone grabbed me by the face.

Now at the time, I was taking about 16 MGs of Dilauded a day, and 10 MG Percocet for breakthrough pain, and then a Xanax at night... Yeah... So anyway, he tells me this Blue Cheese is his favorite, and he rolls one up while we're out and about, and passes it to me, and for the first time, I had this thought of "Wow maybe I don't need as many pills and heavy drugs all the time" and after we smoked that I legit started feeling a bit better. That was the first time I EVER cared about the name of a strain before. It was also the first time I cared about having weed.

To this day Blue Cheese is still my favorite strain, and every Cheese cross I've had, does something to me that other strains simply don't do. Eventually I got some Chem D, and noticed easily that it too had a use. That's why you see me drool every time someone has Cheese or a Chemdog; Those two strains and having pounds and pounds of them, keep me from needing to go to a Doctor every month for heavy drugs. I haven't taken a Dilauded pill in years. Thank God for Cheese and Chemdog :)

You have my attention on that DN though; that's some pretty interesting selective breeding and results from the sounds of it.

Yeah, October rain and humidity bro! Now, on one hand, I've never grown a plant that didn't have a bit of Bud Rot on it, but I rarely lose much. I've had plants get literally knocked in half from wind storms, and though it sucks, I still end up pulling a decent harvest.

LOL bro there must be something about Grease Monkey though; Grown that the last two years in a row, and I lose entire branches to bud rot on that one. Like you said; It looks good, and then you go to start chopping it, and then you finally see that stem is gross, and every bud connected to it is gone.

First year I had two bagseed seedlings of it, and lost a decent amount to bud rot, but I still ended up with a good haul because of the size of those buds, but they aren't that big compared to a Cheese cola, and I lose a lot less on the Cheese.

Blue Cheese in particular, and now, I can add to that Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin, finishes so early I don't really have to worry about those outside though; Main issues on them is making sure they are secured in place so the wind doesn't knock a bunch off, but yeah bro, even though the first thing to start flowering this past season was Skywalker, the Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin cross, was the first thing done. Lots of Indica heavy leanings in those two. Not only that but that cold weather we get turned her some PRETTY colors! The Blue Cheese X Blueberry Muffin legit had Purple and neon Pink almost red buds, but the sugar leaves stayed green LOL.

Thanks a bunch _ I'm in the same climate zone as you - must give Blue Cheese a grow (breeder) sound like a good genetic strain
