I wanna wait for that model but their current one is so powerful and good. not sure if I would care/notice. the orginal models and so forth were all hand soldered and this company def put their energy into what’s needed to make a good light. So many companies it’s the box or branding logo bs core quality

I was definitely excited for Chilled when GrowMaus moved to Washington and started working for them. The pucks that @Deebs is referring to were designed by him. He parted ways with them about a year ago. Not sure why exactly but they have been doing great things inside the LED space for a smaller company. I would love to get my hands on some of these newer white light-based LEDs they are producing these days. I just can't get over the cost just yet.

I am enjoying my X1 Veg very much, pulled the trigger on it because of the impact upgrading to 4x Chilled Logic pucks made back in May. I will definitely be adding more ChilLED in the future. The wiring connectors are the nicest Ive seen. Overall a beautiful piece of equipment. Sitting here thinking about ordering another one and just running them both at 50% because they are so damn beautiful. I picked up an HLG135 RSpec Kit for $158, and a ChilLED X1 Veg Assembled for $225 during Black Friday, the ChilLED is on another level. Caused light burn at 75% when switching from the HLG135 at 100%. ChilLED draws 170w. HLG draws 140w.

$2500 tho...on sale. Staggering. I don't mind paying a few bucks more for a quality product but isn't this a bit high? Or am I tripping? It's market is commercial grows maybe that's where the hurdle is.
the uMol rating is also over 3 now, I wonder if thats enough to justify the massive price increase for commercial applications.

As a ChilLED owner (X1), HLG owner (2x 135), and Logic Puck owner (4x) my dollars would be spent on an X1 over a 135 if the format permitted. Id opt for 2x 135s over the new X3 Mini, I myself cant justify the price jump, that being said I have a 3 x 5 space currently under powered (I treat it as a 3x4) by 4 pucks, and ChilLED has a 3 x 5 option that Im trying to convince myself I need... Thought about adding a X1 Mini 65 to the back of the Clos (hard sell - the dollars for the usable light), and a X1 Full down the middle of the rows of pucks (very likely) or HLG135 centered in the middle flanked by pucks, or in the back of the Clos (cheapest)... Time will tell, and no time soon thats for sure.

Not sure about all the other guys but Austin has picked up the phone when Ive had a question, or emailed back within 20 minutes, they are US Based, US Made, and back their product with a meaningful warranty. Those factors make my decision easy in regard to the X1 specifically. Dollars per watt tells you something, doesnt mean it tells you everything.

My opinion as a relatively new very small scale hobby grower who loves DIY (20 years of construction, 3 years of farming, 2 years of woodworking), but I love the amazing fit and finish of high quality American made products, and the feeling it gives me supporting an independent business owner, over say Amazon.

I am very curious about these ChilLed for some reason. 3.19 umols is an impressive benchmark.

I am running two comparable setups, one 600w from kingbrite, and a 720w from Migro, I would love to run one of these Chilled side by side with my gear and see what comes of it. I would need to start running CO2 again to make sure im getting as much as I can from the plants but I have this itch to see if the massive price gap is for a reason.

These were 630 shipped

These retail at 1000 dollars shipped but I got a 50 percent coupon because Shane is the shit. But he advertises almost 1 full umol less than Chilled...?

If something is way lighter , way less heat and also more durable and better per square feet and better costumer service .

It’s like Ferrari vs Ford

Sometimes you gotta pay to play nd of course it removes majority of people. But theirs a % and commerical that want the better % and less hassle .

I did see that and it's a very impressive claim and also probably accurate. Than my eyes see that this thing hits the market in June and I thought wait a second... come June 3.0 might be standard by then or at a minimum more available.

I am not knocking the quality or the allure but ever since chilled hit the market they have been a bit pricey with most their gear. Mouse design those pucks fairly quickly after the hlg quantums lit fire, and was able to keep them in a nice price range when partnering with RapidLED. They are going left while I want them to go right maybe that's why mouse jammed.

Like I said I don't want to knock these fellahs for the amazing tech they are achieving. In the end it makes for better product throughout the market space. But please, I'm begging you, figure out something in the pricing department.
