Ghost Breath: A cross of Medo Breath and Ghost OG

Allow me to first paint you a picture,

It's a warm California spring day as I sit upon several bales of steer manure, a joint hanging from the corner of my mouth as I turn over a large bed of rich dark freshy worked earth. A cool breeze fills the air chilling the sweat upon my brow, a wave of relaxation washes over me. My aching muscles and stiff joints were little more than a dull sensation, a faint shadow hidden beneath a placid lake of calm, happiness, and a faint can do attitude.

The Source:
A mutual acquaintance who happens to have been a long time organic grower who also owns a pot farm. It was grown in an outdoor green house under natural sunlight.

Appearance:

A some how dull light green, at first glance I found it to be some how wanting, no foubt a side effect of that old Og inheritance. How ever its almost part dark part bright green entices you in with a resinous coating and density.

Aroma:

A bouquet of deep lime, with an intense under tone of sour pungence, and sprinkled with a touch of spice. I can't help but get the feeling of a complex lime candy aroma, as there is also a touch of that "sweet" for lack of a better word smell.

Feel:

Some how dense and greasy but also fluffy and light, though not particularly sticky compared to some of the truly resinous strains ala the memebers of the Afghani varietals.

Method:

Smoked through a hemp zigzag, while not my most favorite rolling paper, it's ubiquitous nature allows me to create a consistent testing platform that most people are familiar with to some degree.

Taste:

A dry hit gave me a sort of sweet spiciness, with a muted lime background, it's flavor was rich and earthy, though not in the driection of hash. Fortunately the smoke took it easy on my battered lungs, and never once went into a coughing fit. After a while my tongue became greasy and started to feel curiously numb, which was an interesting experience to say the least.

Effect:

Extremely relaxing and a faint bit tingly, a bit tight around the head, but plesantly camling with a general bit of feel good vibe that isn't overly clouded. It most certainly takes the dege off of my nerve pain, and relives my depression, but adds to it with a clear ability to focus.

Thank you for reading, sincerely, Chuck roast, over and out.

Georgia Pine:

I sat down after a long hard days work and just sat there staring at my weed jars as a sigh escaped my lips. My lower back and feet were killing me and I wanted something to take the edge of the searing hot spikes of pain that were shooting up my left leg I, I needed something to dull the pain. A smile split my face when I saw that I still had some Georgia Pine left, the jar oppened sith a satifying pop. Even after a few weeks in sub optimal conditions it still hit me with a poweful pungent smell that tickled my nose pleastnly.

When ever I'm trying a new strain my favoite thing is to just spend some time examining the nugs as one would a fince craft beer, by starting with the pour. Only the pour in this case is a close inspection of the nugs, searching out it's unique chactersitics and checking out those tricomes. Next I move on to breaking up the nug in my fingers, to get a feel for the texture and density of the flower as well as the resionous nature of the bud. Then I like to get a deep whif of the bud as it's breaking open to fully savor it's aroma, before I start to roll a joint.

Method:

Smoked through a hemp zigzag, while not my most favorite rolling paper, it's ubiquitous nature allows me to create a consistent testing platform that most people are familiar with to some degree.

Appearance:

Lage dense dark forrest green nugs with some lighter splotches, and covered in a sticky coating of resin.

Aroma:

More pine needle than pine wood or pinecone, kind of lemony in fact, there is an underlying tone that I think some people might mistake for black liccorice, but it's not a very bright or forward note and seems muddled into the background. It is pleanstly pungent but not skunky and more sour smelling than sweet. There is also an underlying gassiness.

Feel:

Dense oily and sticky to the touch, it will qiukly coat your fingers if you break it up by hand.

Taste:

The first dry pull gives me sort of lemony pine needle flavor, and maybe a bit of the lemon peel. Its when you being to smoke that the pine lurking in the background comes forward, with a faint earthy aftertaste that sists on the tongue. Also there is slight sour taste to the smoke that dosent come out right away but appears as the flavor develops on the exhale. Also I have discoved a pine bitterness that I only ever seem to get out of certain hop vireatals. At the very end their is a bit of tariness from the high concentration of resin.

Effect:

Fast acting, I begin to feel mild effects in my body after just a few puffs that continually builds as you smoke After a while. I feel a heavy stone weighing down my vody as I slowly sink into the couch. Over time my breathing begins to slow down and a sense of relaxion washes over me. All sense of pain has become a distant echo, and now I'm getting just a touch of this weird raciness, the kind used to give me paranoia get back when smoking was still illegal. Now the raciness just seems like a fun rollercoater ride, which is weird when you're couchlocked. I am both extremely relaxed and Hyper focused, as well as considerbly numb to how fucked up my body is.

Afterthoughts:

It's a couchlocky, excited, happy, hyper focused kind of high, I highly suggest this weed for pain relief, and sitting down to work on a task you enjoy. I would not suggest this for anyone suffering from paranoia or is particularly weak towards rapid mood swings.
