In Bloom
This is the haul of beans that were shucked from the mother...or what's left of them

You can see I have them separated by grades. This being my first attempt and no experience, I pulled down to early. I was left with unmatured beans about a third of the batch. I have been using these lower grades in all my personal see pops. I have basically been testing a dozen different germination methods. I have to say, it's been pretty nice having a few hundred seeds to mess around with, and that's what gave me the idea to direct sow in the first place. I think I dropped about 40 of the lower grades about 3 inches apart. Here's what it looks like after the viable ones came up:

I am fairly happy with how this has gone but, I definitely gathered a ton of information for improvement. I am only ending the selection process but here are a few examples:

1. Consistent germination. -Meaning, a better comparison can be made throughout the process if the plants broke ground at the same time.

2. Should use the most viable seed. -This plays into the first one but is just as important. No questions with full genetic makeup in the final selection.

3. More is better. -This has been said before, but after dipping my toes into the water myself, I would have to agree. The variations in these poly-hybrids can be vast.

4. Cull Harder. -By nature, every plant is precious, especially if it cost you cash for the seed. But, in the end I feel I am at a better place with better plants.
Priceless!

Here is the selected female in the GG75 line. She's been in full sun all her life and is slightly behind in initiating flower than the others I have stuck in shaded areas around the place. I did notice some early frost on her a few days ago which is promising. She definitely has slowed down under this smoke covered sky though. The whole garden isn't drinking as much and the grounds staying moist for the third day in a row. Crazy how this layer of smoke is like a blanket for humidity and sunlight.

Clearing up slightly for the outdoor girls. Still some ash hanging around.

A res change and some IPM got the veg tent reset. I was able to get some early shot at the full stable. Getting thin down nicely for the next seed pop.

And the new addition, that Coast to Coast cut of Shorelines Candyman

Candyman is looking good. Your SDxSCJ #2 has similar leaves to my #2, which happens to be the stinkier girl that’s chunking up
#2 does stand out in contrast to the other leaf structures, no doubt. They are a bit shorter and definitely fatter than my #1. These are backups to the originals who are in flower now, I'll see if I can pull some comparison shot on the leaf expressions on those now that they are all indoor.

I went and trimmed off the top of this CandyMan and attempted a clone attempt with this new "dewey" sprayer I wanted to fiddle with.

These last couple of weeks we have had some weird weather patterns due to the wildfires. The coastal fog which basically burns off by mid-morning has been lingering around all day every day. As a result Bud Rot on some denser colas

Most of the seeds are still a few weeks from being mature. My hope is that the lowers that have been pollinated can finish off now that I open up airflow and the sun is starting to shine like normal. I am sure they'll still be plenty of seeds on what's left weather permitting.

On a better note, the BlueRipper male is maturing

@Mim Towls @Jewels and to whomever else it may concern

I stumbled on to this earlier in the year :

Badger and SubCool worked together back in the day and Badger still holds the cuts. I contacted the stink bank through email to receive this list back in February. If any of you boys wanna go in on a 50 pack let me know. This "Pandora's Box" looks interesting too.

K,,, either my boner was obscuring the type, or the endopheno's were clouding my brain.
For this moment ( 12hours of moments) I thought there were 50 random beans, and they would be hunted, to find wich was who :ROFLMAO::LOL:

I may be clueless but that does not change my intentions.

It is the SpaceQueen , that is wholly unavailable, on that list.
Strelka is available - Queen x Stardog
Scarlet Queen is available- KillerQ (G13)x SpaceQ

I was doing the Jack cross thing, u
ntil I got some legit Ripper to pop.
Was gonna pull trigger on Strelka, until I found diff. Chem.

Soft on Cuvee and Bobsled.
Strongest on Pandora and Jack Ripper.

With a legit'sh Spacequeen, we could fake most of that list.

what price does the website advertise ?
I found this in the original mail

Attached is a menu of all available genetics, The only strain we have that isnt on the menu is Badger's Pucker Berry.
All bakers dozens are $80 and all 50 seed packs are $180. We also offer Cuvee in 13 packs instead of only 50 packs.

Price includes shipping and we are accepting PayPal and Cash App at the moment. We also do same day shipping if ordered before 4pm Monday-Friday

I am currently waiting to see if these prices are still good and if the menu has changed.

Looks Like Badger turned him on to Stardog

"Strelka
Stardog X Space Queen

I have always been impressed with Kyle’s Terpene profiles and since we go way back it only made since to work on a few projects together. Badger loves the way Stardog grows and he has created a new Hybrid for us. Berries, Candy and Kush with hints of Sour Diesel"

*Sense

Paypal and less than 4 bucks a bean?
Kinda a No brainer.
SpaceDude is the only famous Male I know of.
@Mim Towls gonna recover from his stroke and chime in anytime.

I feel Lemmy nearby.
