no offense but that's not true on function of what spinosad does. key too success with any pesticides is ipm rotational and to stop in cannabis after 4/5 week( besides bio and approved products) of bloom but also key is to follow manuals limit per season and misc other requirements ( example spinosad ph when used is desired at 5.5)? been a minute bro. Good to hear from ya
I had some of this stashed away

I mixed up a gallon and did a full spray down. Supposedly the Spinosad bacteria will stop them from eating and they die off, we will see.
Thanks for the information. It's my first experience with thrips and in turn, using spinosad. I can see how I got confused with how it works and should have probably considered the details as I glanced over the pieces of information. As far as the battle with these pests goes, the one application looks like it stopped 'em deadno offense but that's not true on function of what spinosad does. key too success with any pesticides is ipm rotational and to stop in cannabis after 4/5 week( besides bio and approved products) of bloom but also key is to follow manuals limit per season and misc other requirements ( example spinosad ph when used is desired at 5.5)
"How does spinosad work?
Spinosad affects the nervous system of insects that eat or touch it. It causes their muscles to flex uncontrollably. This leads to paralysis and ultimately their death, typically within 1-2 days."

That was my experience with thrips and Monterey w/spinosad as well. 1 application and it was 100% over. Thanks for the information. It's my first experience with thrips and in turn, using spinosad. Damn I wish I had that experience lol. I think the trick is to catch them early. That was my experience with thrips and Monterey w/spinosad as well. 1 application and it was 100% over.
I'd totally agree. Doesnt hurt on my part that I am in 100% Hydroton either. I can imagine a coco or soil medium would be considerably more difficult to wipe out totally on first shot. I was pretty heavy handed on the douche too, not caring about overspray getting onto my pots or the flood tables/trays.Damn I wish I had that experience lol. I think the trick is to catch them early.
@Buck5050 I'd still do a couple more applications. There could be eggs or larvae in the soil still that won't hatch for a week or more. That's what happened to me. Thought I had them knocked out until the re-emergence

I'd hit it one more time today then and let it ride after. I've been alternating spinosad and plant therapy twice a week each, so you definitely can apply it more often then the directions say lol. I'm on a mission. The instruction said to wait between applications and the minimum was 5 days with some ranging up to 10 days depending on the plant species. As you fellahs seen from my last post the pistils are starting to show and we are getting very close to the time where I would give it one last IPM treatment and then let them ride (in flower). Today would be 5 days since the treatment. Any suggestions? The medium I am using in the flower tent this round is an 80% perlite 20% vermiculite mix.
As far as the veg tent goes I planned on hitting everything against after a week or so just for good measure.
Just to make sure.. we're all on the same pageYou can go every day for a wk, then do pt 2 times the next week, then go right back at it with spinosad a few times that week to get the next round....if you want..
I would definitely hit it again today....
Yes sir, that's what I'm using.Just to make sure.. we're all on the same page
I'm talking about
Stubborn bastard lol. I wonder how he'd act if you took a cut (quarantined) and tried to put it under some 24 hr light?@HydroRed Unlike the indoor girl this one is difficult to re-veg.

His sister that set right beside him is fully back in veg and almost ready for cuts to be taken. He's trying to do something but he still stuck between. I tried moving him to a sunnier spot and upped his waterings to see if I can tip the hormones back to full veg.
