This looks like a nice place to put a seldom updated breeding journal.
I have a little less than 12 beans left of last years cross of 4th meal mom and shindig male. So far I have lost my 2 attempts at growing them out to veg tent broad mite issue and a male plant. shout out to the growmies who I reached out too to set my tents straight. From the beans I have sent out I haven't seen any thing popped.

This year I recieved some fem pollen of a photo period named purple ferrari, a cut favorited and gifted from the growmie Jusstgrowit. I plan on making some fem beans with some cuts I am running now depending on how the flower tent grows and smokes. Right now the for sure plans are to cross it to the spectre I have been running this year. Spectre was a great plant, great smoke, I am hoping that the purple ferrari keeps the plant colorful while shortening the flower time. More updates to come later in the year, probably may or marchish.

He had them farmer freeman tests and it is a girl. I am excited to see my chucks out their in the wild and being grown. Makes me happy. I have not had luck growing my own seed stock with the last run being a male and before that issues with the grow that saw me loae a few things I had running and vegging. I have about 12 of these beans left that I'll revisit as the years go by.

In other projects, I'll be looking to take a cut of the spectre to use as a mother for slips and also because training wise topping makes sense. Next run of that, i plan to pain some pollen on.

I have a vial of pollen ready for spectre (bottom right black pot) plan is a paint brush pilfered from the tiny roommates and pollen painting the lowers. Any advice appreciated as I have just used a male and shook before. Hoping the pollen painting is somewhat precise and I Dont have beans in all the other plants.

Careful when painting, I kinda tap the brush near the head . I also use a headlamp so I can see exactly where the pollen is going. Best of luck brother

When is appropriate to paint? As soon as you see hairs?

Depends on how many seeds you want more hairs more seeds. Just make sure there's 4-5 weeks left to finish the seeds.

I use a Q-Tip, seems to pick up the pollen well. A couple taps of the qtip over the bud is all it takes.

Getting bigger and ready for a pollen donation. I think about dusting the grannys home or leaving it. Not sure yet.

Looks like it is ready for pollen. I'll be dusting sometime next month. This strain goes pretty long 70ish days so the remaining time should be long enough to mature the beans

A q tip was used with a vial of purple ferari fem pollen to dust the bottom 3rd of spectre plant. It sat out for about 30 minutes before a foliar spray of water and a bit residual lcpt and back into the tent for lights out.

No seeds found in the spectre yet. Pollen might not have took which might mean sin semmilla which works for me too. My growmie lizard ninja on discord is making me look good with the cross I made last year which brings me joy!

Cut this morilla f2 down but their is a cut rooting so maybe I'll do a solo cup pollen grab. Going to see how the 3 molbs comes out.

Hoping to hit the spectre with this one but also considering collecting pollen or both. The fem pollen was a bit of a fail. But I do have some texas chem saw pollen that might be worth exploring. Decision for this years bean runs are as always going to come down to luck.

Right on time for xmas giveaways. Spectre, 3molbs and grannys home are all seeded from the morilla f2 male.
