Every time I open the tent I hear that quote in the back of my head. The Power inside these stalks is prevalent. Both male and female alike. Very strong plants to grow that are testing my tie-down skillz on a day to day basis. I have multiple yo-yo's putting in work keeping these monsters out of the light. We'll keep cruising. ?

Might just be. Those saggy tops are also very close to the fan, so close that some of the leaves are getting chopped up as he grows. You can kind of see it on the back right of his solo shot. This whole run is packed in like a can of sardines. Between the heat lamp, fan and light it's been a bit of a challenge keeping this canopy contained. Of course, squeezing those extra cuts in the middle might have contributed to the issue but here we are, and I think I now have it at a manageable point.

Removed #6 male from the tent.

Everything is healthy and packed full of beans. I plan on cutting down #5 in a few days and maybe do a light spray down with some RO water to neutralize some of the stray pollen. I am shooting for a nice clean break in pollination to let the flowers focus on seed health. The frost is starting to layer in on the girls and some gassy undertones have come with it. Definitely a nice surprise. (y)

Everything is moving along. Jammed pack with seeds and staying healthy. I removed the last male (#5) at the beginning of the week and then shook off the excess pollen. After everything settled I sprayed a mist of RO water covering as much as I could. The idea was to neutralize stray pollen and let the flowers get a clean break. From here on out we'll focus on plant health and wait for seeds to mature.

Still moving along nice and healthy. Grabbed a short video from yesterday and wasn't able to upload it. I guess a few bugs remain in the new feature. Some gas is coming through on the flowers and #4 is getting nice and frosty on her buds.

Both girls are still looking healthy and are maturing their seed. I haven't much experience with over-pollination but I am guessing this is what it would look like. The sheer amount of seeds packed in so tight hasn't helped in getting a good look at flower formation on this obscure strain. I know the goal is to capture as much of a genetic range as possible and in turn create as much seed in the process. But, I don't think it has done much for glamour shots. ?‍♂️ My hands-on experience growing this strain has me quite excited and intrigued to see what the offspring will bring to the table.:phenohunt:

Why jump off now when I came this far?
I'm there no doubt, but I think I'll go a little bit more to mature a bit and pacify the unknowns. I usually lean on the side of taking the seed longer than shorter and a few are still on the lighter side of things.

One thing this run has shown the masses is exactly what over-pollination looks like. I'm glad I had the experience really. I can see how some of the seeds are deformed and some were choked out completely by the others. In the end, I don't think it matters for a preservation run but can be something to think about when doing something similar in the future. :mariochanging:

Nice Buck! Those deformations look wild! Def something to think about!! Another example of less being more. I did and noticed the same/similar results not long ago. Seeds from a plant I intentionally pollinated, heavily, and half, if not most, were underdeveloped and deformed...while the neighboring plants that caught side/stray pollen made much better looking/developed seeds. Haven't cracked any of those offsprings just yet to investigate further, but again, def something to think about/consider/prepare for in the future?
