I have seriously neglected my pool last 2 years. Been working on the house past 5 years and finally about done with the inside and then move outside lol. The amount of time it takes while working with kids is unreal lol. I need to get it back going we have had kids in swim lessons past few years and there doing great swimming now. Plans on drain and new liner in spring and start fresh. I have called it Cess for the last couple years haha.

How has been getting chlorine for it been this year? At the store we are selling 3 3"tabs for $25. Buckets are around $500 now. Fucking nuts lots of people getting salt cells.
My brother...I'm sitting on a gold mine here then...my girlfriend heard chlorine shortage...bought like 20 cases of 10% pool shock liquid and 8- 25# buckets...if ya need one... I got ya! Lol...I have not even used half a bucket of pucks yet and a case4 of the liquid...so I am loaded...keep them sealed and you are good.
Yeah, the trampoline, then the playhouse/shed and now the pool, the horses etc...it keeps my kids closer to home and their friends come here...keep an eye on those bastards...well worth the time and investment.
I have my basement gutted, redone and is now patched and primed ready for paint and floors...I ordered furniture about 9 months ago...it is finally here?...gotta get on the ball.

Order your liner now if you can...still difficult to find and have made.
No one wants to work...they want everything for free...took me 7 months to take delivery on a 100kvw generator?...now I'm installing on days where it is above 95*...no shade.

I have a brand new salt cell I want to sell...never used it as I was told where I park my horse trailers it would fuck up the aluminum.

Hell ya man, getting it done. Me and the wife have the same idea, make it the hangout spot here to keep a eye on them.

Liners right now are 6 weeks out for us. The big one is encapsulated coping for liner pools, it is 12 to 14 weeks out. I've stocked up over the last year a box here and a bucket there lol, perk of a warehouse full. They said they probably will never recover chlorine production with that plant burning. By the time they rebuild supply will be that much more.

With the salt cell along as any metal close by is grounded and you have a zinc anode inline you will be fine on corrosion. Other then that it will eat the shit out of it.

Still got a lot of rocks to stack, all plumbing ran to the 3 sheer decents and conduits ran for lighting. Got 25 80# bags of type s mortar, 12 left, will be close. Plaster will be this week. Coming together. Sucks having 5 pools open at once, running around everywhere and can't spend the time at one place to get something done. I'm a fan of finish one then on to the next....but whatever I just build them lol.
