Concrete life

Not sure if there is any fellow finishers or framers. I build inground pools but the concrete work is what I enjoy. Love creating shapes and literally set them in stone. Built a stupid big pool last year homeowner gave me free roam on shapes of planters and stairs, I was in heaven lol. I couldn't imagine being stuck in a job I hated, and for those of you out there stuck just to make ends meet I feel for you. I cant help to much on growing weed yet but if you have a question on building I can probably help you out. 20190828_133130.jpg 20190828_153009.jpg 20190921_180017.jpg 20190921_180021.jpg IMG_9785.jpg 20190424_172005.jpg 20190412_145331.jpg IMG_9612.jpg 20200512_121430.jpg 20200501_190110.jpg

My good friend @JL2G is a GC and has some mad skills. He would definitely appreciate this craftsmanship.

Every time I travel, I get homesick for the Mt views of CO. Lol.
Right now I'd take a desperate housewife, with or without lemonade if she's got a nice pool. Lol.
Lol, and ya co was great, went to red rock amphitheater that was awesome. Not only the place but the view was insane. The sky is so big.
Really nice work man! I see a lot of attention to detail!
Thanks man and yes I overly critique my work. To the point i dont like help on some things lol like tile, or coping.

Day 3, rough pour 90 and 7 yards of grout with 2 people who give up easily.... View attachment 14345
Sweet job ..bud!
I actually had a concrete company a number of years ago using primarily GFRC (Glass Fibre Reinfored Concrete)..Amazing stuff! We did counter tops and firemplace surrounds using all sort of Oxide and Graphite pigments..could pour a large sheet 1 inch thick that would flex without cracking..
I see the work that goes in and admire your craftsmanship!!

Not concrete but ohh well lol. Been working on these rooms for the past while. Like a year lol. Was ripped out to the studs, including floors and ceiling. Cut all trim and routed, crown molding was a learning curve lol. Shelf was built this weekend. Some trim left to do and flooring in living room. Resized_20200511_014008.jpeg

I hope you realize that when I build a house in a few years I'm calling you for concrete work, doing partial underground with 1 or 2 shipping containers behind underground part (always wanted hidden door in closet like Narnia door lol) & log & stone a frame as external half

Hit me up, illy is just right there lol. Have you looked into gunite? A gunite underground house is practically a bomb shelter. I am looking into burying a few containers myself lol. Have the door down on the side of the ravine.

Planning on total off grid before I'm too old to enjoy it
