Pic was taken before sunset. The last of the suns rays are illuminating the exhaust trail and underbelly of the plane. I thought it was a spaceX rocket or something.

The areas that I'm at were once native american lands and trees like those are called 'trail trees'. They would bend the young saps like that to point towards areas of interest like water, sacred sites etc.

I'm sure that's what it is the rock is on the ground there where they tied it down it points to a large body of fresh water about 1 mile or so away... It's a American beech I guess they can live for up to 400 years old or so
