FYI - I’ve been a little disappointed with Icy Grape by Copa. Decent looking plants, but they are definitely *not* resistant to PM.
Hell I’ve got one that’s been pollinated and I’m gonna cull it because the fucking thing is covered with PM.

But I’m not bitter…. :hotpoop:

I'm no weed botanist, but in my territory PM resistant is translated as 'does not produce long fat colas'.

Admittedly, this has been a bad year for PM and I’ve culled a lot of plants of various strains.
Plant structure is a factor because it affects air flow, especially in the center. Fat buds can be a problem but that comes later and it’s a different fungus. I’ve found that plants that are more susceptible to PM are also susceptible to bud rot later in flower.
I won’t cull a plant for localized PM, but I’ll punch their ticket for a full outbreak.
Instead of culling my pregnant Icy Grape I decided to isolate her for experimentation.
The first one is soaking the entire plant with diluted skim milk in full sunlight. (16 oz per gallon).
I’m also trying a product called ‘garden phos’ with a different plant that also has a significant PM infection.

I'v been using Regalia for a few years now with great results. Not as a cure so much, but as a preventative.

Have you tried house hold peroxide for PM? Best thing I have found so far. One cup in a gallon of water in a compression sprayer is my go to for outdoors. Been ages since I had PM issues inside...knock on wood.

A couple of things:

J James and I had already begun the project before I was aware of hard feelings between him and some good members here at this site. I sure hope they've been resolved.

When discussing doing this, I told J James that - at best - he would get a "you can find his work by searching google and instagram" in the seeds description because his site is a competing business w/ DCSE, and he was cool with that.

I point that last bit out because, have y'all seen today's DCSE newsletter? Most of us have known for awhile what a class act Paul and Merry are, but Paul - without being asked - inserted direct links to CLG's website in both seed descriptions of Orgi, the BCL, AND in a paragraph in the newsletter. Color me 'blown away' an extra mile and a half by Mr Chucker.

I don't think the cunty individual has apologized yet for his cunty behavior. In fact there is still some cunty behavior going on if you know where to look. Doesn't look like any resolution has been reached based on the cunty postings I see a recently as the weekend.

Well I can say something about what i know...What I know is FRIM never...and I mean never...shits on any breeder. EVER.

And I talk to the dude a lot.

Shitting on other seed breeders is very bad form...and my garden is all about good form...i will take every natural advantage i can get.

My garden will always reflect that. But i do not buy beans. I just grow them..

And I really like to grow some Freak genetics lately....We choose what we put in our garden. Fire abounds.
