Dirtbag, but no dirt.

Hell yea mr bag, killing it as usual brother, and nice to know I'm not the only one that sucks at cloning in rockwool, I've tried several times and they just slowly died on me till I said fuck it and just pulled em. And dam that finished smoke looks absolutely tasty, and what were the nutes you were using that netted the subpar results???

Earth juice was the nutes used last run. It produced nice enough smoke, yield was terrible and the ph was all over the place, it was messy and smelled bad. Lol

This round im using Dyna gro and like it much, much better. Very clean stuff, just like the wool.

I'm down. Good luck, though it looks like you don't need it. Been wanting to try RW.
What kinds of drippers or whatever are you running?
I keep it really simple with as few "moving parts" as possible. No drippers, just naked ended 1/4" lines on stakes. Im using rainbird 6 port free flowing manifolds on the irrigation risers. The pump is a cheap eco1000 and the timer is just an atlas or something, digital 1 min increments and the flow volume is adjusted with a ball valve. One of these days I'll spring for a more accurate timer, but this one does the job with a little tweaking. Right now they are watered 5 times during lights on and once during the dark. But soon moving up to 6 and 1.

Thanks for all the info Dirt! I've got my coco automated with a very similar setup, and don't think it would take much too much of a learning curve to give RW a go. I let the pH in my rez drift between 5.8 and 6.2. I might need to tweak that a bit for RW though.

Won't need to tweak it much. I mix my nutes up and if it falls between 5.7-5.9 I just leave it there. But anywhere between 5.5-6.2 works fine. Its easier than coco I find. You get runoff quick and it stops draining just as quick so it's easy to dial in the irrigation duration, and it is completely inert. I like inert.

Thanks again! I really appreciate the straight up info sharing I find here at PH.
