DIY curing buckets

hellooo all. i personally don't use glass jars anymore, prefer light proof buckets. picked up a few of these behr 1 gallon paint buckets with pour spout lids at the home of pot. perfect for burping.

you will need -

1+ behr 1 gallon paint bucket with pour spout lid
boveda 58 or integra 55 humidity pack(s)
flexfix tape

easy stuff. tape the humidity pack to the inside of the bucket. flexfix doesnt bleed and holds well, plus i always have some. Unscrew the pour spout to burp for 20-30 minutes. I like to gently shake the material a couple times to just move it inside the bucket a little, while i burp. 1 bucket holds about a half pound, depending on density of your material.

peas.

saw this on IG, reminded me of a guy i used to admire ways back, grew 10 boxes of sour a run. would do this with shopping bags, good alternative to buckets and glass. im trying something like this rn

the buds are trimmed and left on stems, put into individual brown paper lunch bags, then that goes into a contractor bag, loosely skirted around the top. no hassle cure if your weather and room temps cooperate. in my area its not easy

however jaded it may be, my cure using this tek just now was flawless. done in about 20 days, possibly a few less. i've never had any issues, just keep smelling it. swapped out the 58% bovedas, only had the huge ones at the store. the integra 55% are a good thing to stock up on.

will be using more of the contractor bag/paper bag meth soon enough, then into these buckets for controlled curing. east coast isn't too forgiving on... anything.
