I can't stand beer mostly. But If I'm going to, dark beers are my jam! Stouts, porters, Christmas ales, Dunkel
I'm at that point. I was severely drunk throughout the 90's. To the point where it was a problem. In '98, I ate some mushrooms and convinced myself that I could no longer drink alcohol. That worked until 2001 when I gradually worked myself back up to a "few". Nowadays I just don't really find myself wanting any beer at all.

I drank beer for so many years just because...Thirsty...beer...with meals....want to party ...beer...That last breakdown with gout made me go away from it..Brave enough to go back to it and all the sudden and it makes me feel like shit..I would drink the ole miller high life by the 30 pack and get a new box twice a week..Never missed a beat..Not sure what changed...maybe my body or possibly subconscious mind saying fuck all that beer..Hell a big mug of Kraken rum couple times a week I'm good..Grab a six of IPA every once in awhile and have a couple but I think beer days are falling off

What good are testers if they're not being put to the test.

I noticed what I thought was a single gnat fly out of the tent the other day so I isolated the medium from the flowers.
PXL_20230113_060043088.jpg
Again, I'm an idiot so I only grabbed eight "isolation bags" that was remedied the following day.
Only one bucket is showing signs of extreme infestation. @RookieBuds dropped off a mosquito dunk I'll use tonight if it seems necessary.

Week 7 starts tomorrow. I think these have a good 3-4 weeks left. Cold wet weather has stuff moving along slowly.

I had to jettison out to a buddy's house last night after watering so I didn't take names.

I think the gnats were introduced through the worm castings or the pile of cooked broccoli we left sitting in the compost bucket.

F@cking gnats. They shouldn't be an issue anymore☢️
I started flower with a 12/12 schedule, kept it there for the first three weeks and then dropped it to 11/13 where it remained until yesterday/last night when it became 10/14 where it will stay until harvest although I'm playing with dropping it to 9/15 after another three weeks and let everything finish under that.

It's difficult to get any smells off these in general without manhandling the buds. The creamy nutty-ness of the Greases Pieces and Sour Skippy overwhelm everything in the room. I can't even really distinguish between the phenos because the whole room smells like creamy nut:cool:

Been keeping the lower air circulating with this 120mm AC Infinity fan. Gnats are gone as far as I can tell but I still got a few here and there on sugar leaves. still don't understand why that one pot exploded and the rest showed minimal signs.

Can't really give an accurate smell report as the entire room smells like creamy nut still.

The top bud is a bit funky on all but the lowers exhibit very GG4 traits.

Overall structure is similar on all with stretch being the main differential.

Killing it @pwnytailjoe !!
Those Greases Pieces S1's have a pretty distinct look to them that the mom had as well (which you seemed to pick up on). I called it the "blockhead" trait. The top cola on her was kinda flat and squared off. She was my absolute favorite -which is why I decided to make the S1's to share. GG4 lovers may appreciate those S1's more than the regular Greases Pieces fem freebies. Wont be long now!

Good to see you around Red! My filter is capturing about 95% of the odor ?

I love GG4; I love PBB ?
Definitely the "blockhead" trait going on. I was a bit confused as the lowers are deadringers for Glue.

Wish I could give better smell descriptions but it all smells like a creamier version of PBB I don't think I'll be able to remove individual plants anymore since I damaged a branch last time I did.

I'm thoroughly impressed with both your genetics and the dr.earth fertz. Can't wait to get these ladies finished so I can smoke some ?

A li'l update before I chop them tonight at day 72. The top flowers are done on most everything as far as I can tell. I'm starting to get some rodelization on one of the Apple Bottoms. Most of the stuff "under the canopy" is some of the larfiest stuff I've ever seen and still very clear but it smells exquisite. I'll probably just pinch & huff those for some aromatherapy.
I'll report back soon with a summary and stats for each of the plants once they've dried. Right now I'm abandoning all sensibility and forging ahead with plans for round 2 as soon as this is dried.

I threw five Purple Caper autos and one Fastbuds - Mexican Airlines @RookieBuds gave me into various size pots for a spring run. beans went in the pots on 2/10. If I don't see anything in another week, I'll try again until something germinates.

Sorry, I'm lagging but not too much to report.
I chopped last Wednesday and hung ' em to dry. Didn't remove any fans. I haven't peeked since then, just trying to keep conditions as stable and ideal as possible.

I'll pop my head in tomorrow or Wednesday and see what's up.
I'm preparing medium for run #2 tomorrow and hopefully I'll have the next lineup picked and ready to get wet by this time next week.

The gnat nets worked aces ? I'm avoiding organic material, so to speak, on the next run but I won't hesitate to use them again if the need arises. It's getting warmer so I'm going to have to start worrying about mites or a thrip hitching a ride on my ponytail.
