Earwigs?

We had those bastards here a few years ago, they came with some mulch that was on sale at Lowes. They ate most my small veg garden, destroyed most all our Hosta's. We put small dishes with water & dish soap out but mostly ineffective. Spraying them with soap & water when actice was the only thing that kept em at bay. Still seemed like they kept coming. That was 2 years ago, they've not been back in any kind of numbers since thanks goodness.

We tried Neem to no affect, also DE is useless against em because of their hard exoskeleton. Good ole Dawn dish soap & water was the best we could do.

Hope ya get em knocked out!

Looks like earwigs. Not really a plant pest under most circumstances. They can cause plant damage sometimes (like in dense clusters of blueberries) but not a major concern for most plants - laying cardboard down on top of the soil will give them a place to hide that you know about, and then you can put them in soapy water or put them outside. They are fairly common indoors, especially in damp areas. Extra vacuuming and getting rid of any unnecessary hiding places (paper bags for reuse, boxes for recycling, etc) will help as well.”

Thank you @BH looks like I’ll just manually remove them when I find them. I haven’t seen them on a plant only in the mulch layer, so for now I’ll just prevent them from getting onto the stems/plants lol.
