Not the prettiest but these Dixie cup ladies are here for one job and they are producing. Beans head to toe on each and they are about done. Letting them go a little long just to make sure I get as many mature beans possible. Just hope they are healthy beans because I'm ready to pop some lol. Hit a BananaOG×91Chem female with the same pollen and she took. Excited for the S1s to play with.

Clipped all the ladies and they are drying. Decided to clip the BananaOGx91Chem S1 and go again another time with her. Just really interested in crosses with her because I already know what she can bring to the table. Going to pheno hunt through the Fritter Bomb and PC3 crosses once they are good but while waiting I'm pheno hunting through:

Breadfruit (Personal cross. Tried to change the name but it stuck)
Pigs in a blanket (Freak Genetics)
Woody Allen (Personal cross. Nothing too special just a Runtz female with a more pine smell than her sisters that was selfed. Sister of SweetCheeks)
Toxic Hulk (th3terrapinterpenes)
Supermarket Truffles (A friend's accident)
G Chem Koffee F5 (Trade Wind Seed Co.)
Holy Water (Gage Green)

Nothing interesting just some seedlings but kind of excited for this hunt. The crosses are nice so a good male from any of the above crosses would be the cherry on top.

Plucked a few beans to test. Drying the nugs to get the other beans easier. Giving them some air and straight to paper towels they go. Hope they crack.

Excited about this one because I didn't expect it. I clipped the BananaOGx91Chem cut that I selfed early. Was going to try to S1 later but to my surprise she took and there are a few beans to play with. Hopefully they are viable. Loving the thick tiger stripes on them too.

Going to keep this cross simple and call it Banana Fritter Bomb. Sorted the beans I wanted to work with and have some extras so if anybody is interested in some message me. About to put another PC3 cut in 12/12 and dust her with some pollen I hope takes. I'll post if it goes as planned. Nothing really interesting now just a bunch of seedlings/cuts taking and some ladies about to hit 12/12.

Talked to Piff and the Banana×PC3 cross will be called Banana Piff. Should be some good phenos in there. Might start a different thread for it. Threw 6 in a paper towel and 4 cracked. Not growing those just wanted to see if they would pop. I'm soaking a new batch for testing. For the Banana Fritter Bomb 10 hit the towel and 9 cracked. Happy with that ratio. Definitely going to make room for a few to test but on the next wave. Thanks for entertaining my rambling and happy share a smile day. Even if you don't want to.

hey man what kind of medium do u run in those party cup seed runs? anything special about taking a plant full term in a solo? i use promix and i cant keep anything happy in a solo for more than a couple weeks. how in the hell do peoples flower in a solo?

Nothing special just recycled soil(so a mixture) with a bat guano topper. Sometimes I add the blood of a Van Helsing if I have some laying around lol. When I flower in cups I just pay a little more attention to them and only feed when they are asking. Depends on the strain being used at the moment too. One thing I do notice is they will tell you their problems quicker in cups.

Made some room but these are the hopefuls in my veg. The bigger one in the front is Pigs in a Blanket, three around her Toxic Hulk and in the back are just a mix of cuts. My next wave of beans I popped before and they were pretty good but I didn't take cuts. Decided to give them another go and take cuts if they are worth it. They are:

Cherry Wine F2
Blue Dream×Stardawg (Hazeman freebie. Popped one let it go straight to flower and was impressed)
Orgi F2 (Tasted good and should have took a cut but hey now I can pop more. Also wanted a reason to show the lady I should have took a cut from beow lol.)

Should get interesting.

They were all popped on the same day and receive the same amount of light. Even though it's early really getting dude vibes from the taller one. Still trying to figure out the genetics in Venom Pebbles #1. Babylon Buster is in flower a couple weeks in. Going to clip this cut and pop a few beans later on down the line. She's not bad just does not check every box. Worth coming back to though.

New shoes new tent. Moved this round of veg to a bigger tent and they are all just getting adjusted. Going to Bush them out a little get some cuts then right to 12/12.

Orgi and Pigs in a blanket are doing good just hoping they are females. If the Orgi turns out to be male I'll just keep the cut and work with it later because I know how the buds taste from this one.
Banana Piff & Muff Cabbage doing good. Muff Cabbage fits the Banana/Fritter Bomb cross for a name because it's already smelling funky in veg. Plus somebody said it smelled like Muff Cabbage and it stuck.

Next cross I'm hoping takes will be:
BlackberryBread pollen (Hopefully it's viable)

Popped some Double Purple Doja F4 & Monkey Juice. The DPD didn't take that good but a few popped. Pop 3x and two going good.

All the ladies in flower about ready for big chop. Will take more pics of everything just being lazy.

Those plants are cool, we had a mimosa tree growing up. And it's leaves were similar. They close when u shade them . Very cool man !

Kind of know what I'm getting with the 88 but interested in phenos in the other two.

Banana Piff #1

Pretty impressed so far with the Banana Piff #1. Still early she's looking like a chubby PC3. Looking more structured next to the BananaOG. Nice mix so far. Had a fast stretch. Going to take more side by sides soon. Hashplants looking good but nothing too interesting.

Popped some:
Cookie Cargo (Jaws genetics. I have to look back at the pack to see the filial and version. Definitely forgot but wanted it for the trainwreck cross)

High Society (They were bag seeds. Nice sweet tasting nugs. Found two popped both. Don't know the genetics so if anybody heard of this tell me)

Don't normally post about near dead cuts but this one I had to. Had a person tell me that a cut was dead/ugly and not worth rehabbing. I tried to explain that it is easy if there are roots and shoots they are good to go. Just a little TLC. Was beating a dead horse then I thought this person is talking like a pro elite grower. I asked how long they've been growing/do you phenohunt? This person looked me confidently in the eyes and said "2 years, I only grow fem and breeder cuts". At that point I ended that convo and changed the subject. I've grown for a while and I'm still learning new things but that's just me.
