What do you guys think of this? Was $199.99 now on Prime Early Access Sale for $99.99 which I think may end today. This is their most expensive model, which appears to have a tincture mode as the difference to their less expensive models. I’m thinking of pulling the trigger, but take a look and see if it stacks up to machines like Ardent and Infuzium. The pic in the link above reflects the incorrect $129.99 List Price, Amazon actually show it as $199.99)

I don't know much about that product but I will say that buying the Ardent FX was possibly the biggest bang for the bucks I ever got from any weed gizmo purchases I ever made. It list's for 300 but goes on sale close to 200....and it is so worth it. It's more expensive but you move immediately to the front of the class.

I would not spend a dime on anything else...........put it toward the Ardent!

Read a bit more and it appears that this model doesn’t decarb just infuses. Thought it may have been a good deal, but oh well.

With that said Amazon also has the Ardent Nova for 36% off, was $294.00 now $198.00 plus there’s a coupon for 5% off so a total of 41% off. Worth it?

The Ardent is the BEST decarb machine there is. PERIOD...

It actually has a sensor in it to adjust the temps as it does the decarb....then pour in your fat and press a button and infuse.

Ardent FX FOR THE WIN !!!

I make hundreds of gummies....they are all rocking hard because the Ardent is SCIENCE !

I actually want it to make gummies and other edibles for non-smokers. I have several ppl asking me for them. Plus it’s not a bad thing for me to have them around when smoking isn’t an option.
I've found the easiest way to infuse is by using coconut oil, jars and a crockpot. Once infused you can make caps or add to food.

I bought a big jar of oil and lecithin

from Amazon and jars at Walmart.

A toaster oven

Purchased at Salvation Army for $5.95 works great for decarb. 30 minutes at 250F. Retains a stable heat better then a full sized oven.

I just made a batch of both THC & CBD oil w/o lecithin for a friend as she has heart issues and should not be ingesting lecithin.

While I love gadgets, especially with cooking I can't see spending so much on one device for decarbing and infusing when I can get a good quality end product for so cheap?

I love DIY and finding cost efficient ways to achieve results like you show above. However, time savings and convenience have taken priority for me these days. I still like to fiddle w things, but in cases like these, I’d rather have the time to spend on other things. There’s so much I wanna see and do, and time has been going by at the speed of light as I get older. It’s even more valuable to me now given the health issues I’ve been through this year.

I pulled the trigger - after the 36% off list price and applying the 5% off coupon, the total came out to $194.18 tax included, with free shipping. Now I’ll be looking for good molds both weed related and ones that look identical to gummy bears for that extra stealth. Already have a couple of excellent recipes posted by @Willie and @OldG so I’m well on my way to gummy goodness ?

After you and Willie talking up the Ardent, I caught a clearance price on the Nova that I couldn't pass on.

So I told my wife - Old G says you HAVE to try a depth charge - 1g , just straight munch....
The flower was a Bad Dawg freebie - Death Star x Apollo 13 F4.
This was a Sunday evening.
We both had to call in sick the next morning, as we were way too high to be functional at anything. It was a totally lost day from beginning to end. I didn't even eat.
I honestly was still feeling some effects Tuesday morning until about 9am!! ????
But scaling down the dose, decarbed bud is so simple and truly effective - I can't bring myself to fool with any other edible.

Speaking of infusing, I was going to pick up a 5 gallon bucket of coconut oil, but, the price jumped from $60 to $110 in 8 months. I'll buy it next time I'm out. Sometime sticker shock, derails my thinking.
Yeah, the price of virtually everything has almost doubled in the past year yet inflation is only 8.3%. Must be that new math they're teaching???

what is cool about the ardent is...it is 99% transfer decarb.
So...you can measure it. 25% thc buds X 30 grams is..7500 mg.....20% transfer loss on infusion (i put all those buds in my magical butter machine and make brownie fat from the grunt)..
That is why i love it...and once upon a time my stash was very limited. Getting the most I can out of it..was PARAMOUNT.

It is still the machine i use the most...at least once a week i decarb something.

You are going to be happy with that..........only difference between the Nova and FX, is the capacity..well mostly.......but you now have command of your oil......infusing is one thing....but re-infusing the same oil is now easy. I did decarb in the oven in pyrex for years..yes you can do that, but after Ardent you'll only wish you got one sooner. It brings a great deal of control and repeatability to the game.
