Buying isn't the problem. Cashing out is.

Oh they LOOOOOVE taking my money, they just won't cough it back up.

But hey....thanks for that tip about them going public, I had no idea. Maybe I will dive into the stock market a little lol.

I found one called CashApp but it had nothing to do with crypto that I saw.

Perhaps I was in too much of a huff and a hurry, and too pissed off yesterday and just missed the crypto part. I was getting pretty hot lol. I'll look at it again, thanks
CashApp is primarily just to send people money but they have a section of the app dedicated to stocks and crypto

So here it is, according to BitBuy support, magically, it was just "poor timing". Their EOS wallets just happened to bork out right as my deposit went thru. Sure.

And now that my EOS is in my wallet there, I can't do a damn thing with it. It won't be available for trade while they work on their EOS code etc.

So it could crash and I literally can't do a thing except watch it tank lol! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccckkkk!

But hey....."please don't use abusive language"

Cool. I will definitely check it out again.

You just have to send it to another btc wallet
nah they wouldnt let me. It kept "im sorry a server error please try again" for 3 days straight, then 2 weeks of them"looking into it" only to be told, "im sorry, we're not sure what the error is. Have you tried transferring it?" so i got frustrated and went back to cash.

But i'd make sure that you're buying the coins themselves and not just the "rights" to the coin. I keep hearing that thats a big thing now, platforms will "lease" you their coin, but its not yours outright, and you cannot transfer/sell it, just hold onto it as an asset. I dont know if coinbase is doing that or not currently.

Yeah, I would never use a platform that does that. I'm trading my coins left and right with no issues. Set up a Coinbase Pro account and go to deposit then select BTC and it will give you an address to deposit money onto your Coinbase Pro account if you're trying to transfer it elsewhere. Punch that into CashApp with the amount you want to send and it should be transferred over to your Coinbase Pro wallet.

I believe I did that exact procedure but I sent BTC to my Kraken (another platform) wallet. I remember why now.. I was in a rush to buy Doge. Made like a grand+ off of Doge while it was fluctuating heavy at first. Actually my first profit was off of some BTC I bought solely to exchange for another crypto.. Woke up $500 richer because I bought during a dip.

Yeah.... I think. I barely understand this shit, but Neptune gave me an address and a bitcoin amount to send, and I punched those into CashApp and hit send. Then they mailed me seeds. That's virtually the entire extent of my understanding of the process
Yeah exactly.. It's not too complicated. I'm not sure why it's giving you a hard time @Dino Party .. it's either a bug or you're doing something wrong.. Did ya try turning it off and then on again? :ROFLMAO:

I’ve been in stocks since 2016, crypto is a gamble and atleast stocks have a product or business that gives it some value. Bitcoin and doge had nice rides and will probably continue. Maybe not at the same pace. I almost got doge when it was half a penny but was frustrated with the transfer to Kraken.
My advice is to find a stock you personally like and interested in. Buy on dips and bad news days (terrorists, shootings, bad employment numbers, etc). Watch for patterns and sell on swings and try to rebuy back where you originally did, don’t get emotional and keep adding. I just had the biggest week ever on my main stock Cara. Good luck whatever you choose.

I didn't have time to read more than the first few posts and honestly didn't feel like reading more after that. All I am going to say is Crypto assets such as Bitcoin, Etherium, etc. are not a scam and are sound, long term investments. (top ranked crypto assets) I'm not here to debate. I've been actively in crypto since 2017 and I understand the market and market cycles. It's not too late long term. We are in a bull market so it will seem like it's easy to pick 'winners.' Trade responsibly because historically the bull market should end this year as we start to enter the bear market Q4 of this year, to Q1 of 2022. I've day traded, swing traded, and have long term holdings I never plan to sell. There is no other asset class that has outperformed bitcoin in its 10 years of existence. (averaging 200% gains a year over the last 10 years) Take my opinion for what it's worth. I have plenty of skin in the game with over 6 figures in my crypto portfolios. As always, don't invest more than you're willing to lose. Don't invest your mortgage. But I'd certainly invest anything extra you have laying around that you can afford to let mature over 5, 10, 20 years. You will not lose on those long term investments if investing into the top 2 crypto assets Bitcoin and Etherium if you can honestly hold them for that long.

Question:
Is it too late for bitcoin?

My answer:
How does a $60K bitcoin price look when its trading for $150k, $500K, $1M in the next 5-10 years? I bet when that time comes, if you never bought any, you'd wish you bought in at $60k.

Lastly, even though I didn't actually start investing until 2017, I was aware of bitcoin in 2010 and followed it through the years. I was skeptical in the beginning too and it took me that long to finally be sold on it and understand it. While I obviously wish like everyone else, I bought in sooner, we are still early. For what it's worth, I continue to buy bitcoin every month even at these prices and will continue to do so. Whether it's a bull or bear market, it doesn't matter. I see the bigger picture and long term valuation 10+ years out.

No, doge is a terrible investment at the moment. Doge is an example of a crypto that literally has nothing backing it.. besides Elon.. and with Elon cheerleading for it.. it can't even crack 10 cents. Not to mention it has an UNLIMITED supply of coins which means it's gonna be very hard to raise the value of it.. Certain cryptos are attached to things, whether they be services.. industries (Pot Coin) etc.. take Orchid coin for example.. I just learned that the service it's backed by is a decentralized VPN.. I bought it and made money off of it a couple months back but just learned what it's backed by.. lol.

Nice explanation perhaps I will venture out again in the crypto market.

Lots of good knowledge here. Broke down exactly why I said bitcoin is a good long term investment.

lol agreed I wouldn’t buy doge now. I would have been happy if I did at 1/2 penny though.Bitcoin is going to 100k eventually.
Good point about companies backing the coin so that is somewhat a support and one way to look at it.
You could buy and sell strictly on Elon’s tweets if you time it right. Lol So many ways to go about it, I enjoy it all.

I've been accumulating crypto for a couple years. I buy on drops and just hold on. Dont even look at what its worth much, my goal is just to keep adding more and more. Have about 26k invested, spread around between coins and currently valued at over 125k and I spent about 8k on seeds and clones which would be worth another 35K or so. Ooopps. Everything has or is going digital, monay is inevitable.
