These news people are crazy, trying to get a rise outta everyone.

You're in Oklahoma ?? Bro come visit, and like, grab a bucket and a battery operated aerator and some baby Blue Cat fingerlings (Ictalurus Furcatus) and head on up :)

Besides if you want an actual forecast like that with massive temp swings we have it LOL.

The garden is starting to grow!
Seeded stuff is up or cracking soil, the tomatoes and peppers are showing off, got okra coming up. Beets, carrots, lettuces, assorted herbs are all breaking soil.
It's been pretty much overcast the last week around here, excellent for transplants.
Funny I'm excited, when I lived out west I AZ or So Cal I'd be harvesting tomatoes already lol.

Chives are back, columbine too and we got some sort of iris poppin but still another month before much of anything gets planted. Carrots will probably go down soon though.

Setting up new more squirrel/ chipmunks resistant compost area and am going to try some cages for the straberries.

16 gal propane burnt so far. Will probably drop tstat from 54 to 50 or lower this fall, will see how long I can justify keeping it going.

Shoulda started the squash, mellons and cucs in bigger pots or transplanted sooner, they def don't like having roots disturbed.

Tomatoes stunted on me when I ran out of propane the other day, they are starting to recover.

All veggies are in the greenhouse, def started enough as I have had to cull quite a bit.

Nicotiana silverstiema is getting fragrant and stickey.
