Yep times have definitely changed. From bagseeds only to having to sneak seeds across the border to sitting on my couch and ordering on line and not having to leave the house till they show up in the mailbox. Never ordered any beanz online till legalization happened in my state did the cash in the mail with glg. Was so excited when they showed up lol now I've ordered with several u s banks and just use the card..last few times has been dcse..?
They both sound familiar! lol, I recall one was raided a few times for pipes and stuff multiple times. I just remember having to walk upstairs, and that there was a coffee shop next door where we could sit, roll up, and smoke.

My first order was from Nirvana in 2012. I asked a buddy if i could use his address and he had 100 excuses so i said f it and ordered to mine. I didn’t tell anybody and been selling to that guy ever since. i actually just told him last week that the past decade was all my stuff lol.
Anyway i was nervous as hell waiting for a month before it came through. I picked up Wonder Woman, Blackjack, and Full Moon. Wonder Woman was a beast, black jack didn’t germ, and full moon was and still is the trippiest mindfuck weed i’ve ever had. i found their thick cardboard mailer during the last move.

First seed order was from the attitude around 2012. A pack each ofTGA's Cheese Quake, Chernobyl, mandala seeds Kristalica, and some single seeds of blue cheese from barneys and nl5 haze mist. The freebies I think were boss hogg and bay 11. Before that it was all bag seed, but it was all emerald triangle bagseed so it was almost always really good.

I got 2 females out of 5 seeds. One plant was pretty lousy and we ended up composting it and the other was grapey and cheesy and had solid potency. I wasn't that impressed, but with a proper hunt I am sure there were some killer phenos to be found.

This is a short story from back in the day. My 1st seed order was to The Seedbank in Amsterdam in the early 1990s. I had probably seen an ad in High Times for them, and I requested a catalog, which I still have somewhere.; the NL5 x Haze in the catalog looked awesome and so I sent around $100 from USA to overseas. Up to that time, I had just grown bagseed. But I was out in Cali, and the bagseed was good. Well, wouldn't you know that about a week or two later, I see an article in High Times that something was going on at The Seedbank with the police seizing records or trying to shut them down or something like that. So, already nervous due to Operation Green Merchant and such, I decided to call them from a payphone and cancel my order ! So i call them and some guy answers, and I tell him I'm worried and a bit paranoid, and want to cancel my order. I ask him if he thinks the phone is tapped and he says "probably !" So I say, well how do I cancel without telling you my name ? And he says something like what did you order, when did you order and what city are the seeds being shipped to ? And while I'm telling him, I have to put many more quarters in the phone booth because my 3 minutes are up ! He looks thru his list for a minute and says, yeah, I see the order right here, and it hasn't been shipped yet. A bit relieved, I said can you cancel it and send me a refund ? He says sure....so that was that.
And if you're wondering if I ever got the refund, the answer is no.
It wasn't until around 2005 that I began ordering seeds again, either from Hemp Depot in Canada, or maybe Seed Boutique overseas, and had them sent to a friend's place. Made a few orders back then - C99, SSH, NL - and I think one of about 3 or 4 was seized at the border.
And if you're wondering if I ever got the refund, the answer is no.

My first beans were just a couple weeks ago. HBZ farms sent me a message saying I needed to get some of them Bodhi beans . HBZ sent me a sample pack to run of some Meigs gold x AOC and they are looking great . So it’s time to start getting a seed bank built up I’m hooked . Can’t wait to see what fire ? comes from these new ones I’m getting . Green Thumb Strong ?
