Got home 5 minutes before lights off with some bowing limbs, and one snapped. Staked and tied up 5 of them including the snapped one. I'm assuming this is becuase of weight? Water has seemed to slow aswell seem to be one maybe 2 days longer per water. The last week mornings have been much cooler. Outside was 65 and room was at 70. It's been 80-89 in room past 2 weeks. The past 5 days been around 70-82. Not sure if the cool air is what's slowing down water. Water leafs look good but limbs look like they are screaming. Lights went out while tieing the last one up will have pics tmrw morning.

A lot of great advice being given here @Fr3nzy . To make it simple just figure on doing two harvests take all your tops on one harvest and give the lowers another week or two. I would think the temp changes would make a big difference in the amount of water uptake. On the snapped stalk maybe put some tape on the break tomorrow. I know a few growers that actually make harvest time when the plants quite drinking. You are going to make a great grower. Took me quite a few grows to get to your level when i started growing.

Thank you man!! I have spent lots of time reading lol. Your guys journals are good reads lots of great ideas and information. Also I was thinking of harvesting top then bottom. Top only has a few white hairs now but the lower buds are still shooting them out. But still some clear trichs on top

Got home late wednesday and should of watered thursday morning. I got home Thursday after work and she looked like shit. So I watered it couple hours before lights off and fed 250 ppm. Today there was tons of yellow leafs. I cut them off and all the others perked back up. Ending 9th week, I now have to look for clear trichs but there is still white hairs on top but look receded in. Was going to cut top buds off and let bottom grow out but want to give the good buds the 36 dark so just do whole plant. Need to get working on room for next round.

I will post non blurples after bit 20200717_181425.jpg 20200717_070300.jpg

Niiice. She is winding down.
Looks to have some sativa in there. You should be off to the races.
That Cmh is gonna blow your mind.

Do you have veg running ?
I am super excited to get that light up. I was going to guess sativa aswell. I know its stretched but stands more like a sativa. Juat what I seen from pictures.

Yes I do run both switches.

Woops...that dehumidifier pulls some water out. Had a quarter bucket around 7 pm yesterday I was like it be fine.....lesson learned. Power strip was sitting in water but luckily did not trip anything. I'm pulling 3 4 gallons a day. I put a 3/4" pvc line in and capped it when I built room. going to run pump tube out so dont have to empty any more buckets. Once I do more plants and have a higher water demand I will utilize the excess as of now its way to much. This plant use 5 to 6 gallons a week. My ro easily keeps up with it.

I sealed all joints in panels with silicone to seal the room. It did not seep any through and was 3/4" deep at the entry.

Nice save dude. You didn’t take short cuts and you didn’t get burned.
I get dirty looks from my wife when I call husbandry “attention to DE-tail’ because although I have reformed myself from saying “attention to Deez-tits“,,,she knows am am still thinking it.

Those Sativas can go forever. Ignore those new whites hairs. It is possible they will never stop. Although not common with designer breeding, it is within the plants power to just go and go.
Our indoor plants are not enjoying the natural cues. Out doors , in fall, the days will naturally become 8 minutes shorter. DLI changes, Overnight temps will slowly drop, daytime highs are muted.
Not all is normal, once we drag them inside. Water consumption and dark chomes will be your guide.
Also, I miscommunicated earlier,,,
Do you have young plants (in a vegetative state) that are ready to begin flowering , once the tent becomes available ?

Just curious, because I rarely harvest a plant without wishing it was put into flower earlier.
If it were me ,,,There is always room for one more,, I would hang that cmh, start tucking little plants in the flower room, and get a head start.
I missed it earlier, but there is no reason to wait on that cmh. Light is light. Even your plant at 9 weeks can benefit from more light.

,,,remember the caveat,
, if it were me,
,,and remember I do a lot of dumb shizz.

Lol, ya when I opened the door my heart sank. I have ones that are not ready for flower but getting close. There is a bit of hole saw work in the room and figured it would be down a week or so do to work and trying to find time. On tuesday wich is start of 10th week I was going to do 36 hours dark only if it feels like most the water is gone. My last water was 250 ppm big bloom. Not to worried about flushing that bit, or should I be? If I need to flush I can and then wait till 11th week. But if the minimal nutes dont affect it much I probably start dark tuesday. Then was going to hang buds in a room for a week or so since I can control temp and rh. So by the time room is ready I think I should be close to flower. Worked out in my head but I'm sure this isnt how it's going to go lol.

Btw I am super antsy to get the cmh hung up. But the size of the plant makes it hard to work in the room. I see myself dropping impact or something on it lol. So I opted to limit the variables of destruction haha.

sugar wafers that is what the smell is. My grandpa always had a jar with cookies or something. A lot of times it was sugar wafers the strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla ones. I knew I knew what that smell was and it's the smell of sugar wafers.

Kinda in the same boat. Lol.
I keep meaning to let the flower room tone down for some remodel work, but somehow it's still full. 6 come out. 10 are ready to go in. Lmfao.

Haha I was afraid that was going to happen at first but the seedlings had a slow start due to heat, I'd assume anyway. They are going now though. Need a place to dry in after this run due to wanting to try and perpetual grow. This winter will be the real test.

Perpetual is where it's at imho. Always a fresh stock of the extra special ones you find, and or a steady variety of tasty new stuff.

For me here the winter grows are so much easier to manage the environment. The summer heat here is a PIA with no hvac running to the shop.
Temps in my flower room are typically 85* to 91*, and dry as heck these days. Plants are happy enough with it so I haven't turned on the porto ac.

That is the same temp range I'm at with port. I know the problem. My exhaust runs 24/7 and pulls in hot air. I have ink bird controls but was going to put all that in after this grow. What I was doing seemed to work so I didnt want to complicate it to much.

I am excited for the lower temps but Jan and feb is rough

Good for you ! So many traditions are being challenged. You have already made observations contrary to common conventions. You are becoming smarter than the common internet ‘right clikked’ wisdom,,,See even my phone wants me to conform ! It doesn’t like ‘clikked’ , so it tried to correct me. Three times !
F U establishment.
Rant over.
Here is where I start angling again,,,
Your plants are not overfed, and you have observed that their pace is slowing. My tap water is almost 200 ppm - you are near nothing as it is . I think they will just wander off into the sunset, as you keep doing what you feel is best.

Not to press the issue, however someone else mentioned perpetual, so I will too.
I have seen massive plants grown 12/12 from seed.
Flip one today , harvest in Sept.
Dilly Dally and you get October harvest.

OH that Jewels, he goes on and on ,,,why?
You mentioned the wife’s approvals, so I assumes she will share the bounty. Just wild guessing, you get two ounces of that plant.
My girl and I could smoke up that plant in a week, and another one next week,,,and the week following.

If you had a bottomless jar,,, how much would you go through ?
My girl smokes an ounce a week. If I harvest one ounce plants- she needs one a week, going into flower.
I smoke one a week, I need one going into flower - every week .
See where I am going ?
I need to harvest
-2 a week or,
- 8 a month or,
- 16 every 2 months or,
- 20 One ounce plants every 10 weeks

I realize not everyone is married to a green torch, just laying out some math.
I hold that weed in my hand, and it looks like it will last forever.
Start rolling up up ?
It gone.
Speed wobble ?
Tank Slapper ?
How bout a wiper ?
I took 2 whole plants to a wake.
They disappear
Up in smoke

I see you are level headed, and I know you got big shoulders. As such : Sounds odd,,,but I genuinely care. We are all here to fill that jar. I want to see everybody’s cup runneth over. So I will be that guy,,and keep pushing you,
to achieve.

Level up bro. Yup, you sure can grow weed.
Now I challenge you to keep a bottomless jar.

Thank you much man! I figured it was such a low ppm that it wasnt a big deal. I smoke a lot, the more I have the more I smoke lol. The wife enjoys it but she is just getting back in after 10 years of no smoking do to her job. So as of now she smokes like a 8th a week. This will increase over time. Messed up on this 2nd grow kinda and did a few to many seeds. Should of done like 4 and then started 2 every 2 weeks. Thinking maybe do a mother and try propagating. I have over 100 seeds left so it wouldn't be something I have to jump on right away. Thank you for the kind words, and I accept your challenge!! I have dreams of mounds of hash, butter and buds ?
