Flower Girl

I grow in home made organic super soil, and I use Dr Earth's Flower girl for building my pots and for flower spikes. I tried some others when the price doubled but, I feel like Flower Girl fits my style the best. Thankfully some sellers have brought the price most of the way back down. I use Espoma organic dry nutes for veg and even flower when I can't get Flower Girl for a fair price.

@Rozgreenburn do you add anything along with the Flower Girl while the plants are flowering?
Yes, I will add some top dressed amendments according to what they ask for. Most strains just get water only, no PH either. My base super soil has all the needs covered for most plants. So, I only add extras if the plants show me the need. Most plants need nothing extra, but If I'm running 4 strains with super soil and flower girl, 3 will grow out with no additional needs, but the oddball makes me address their special needs! Usually a touch of Cal Mag, some EWC and some Alaska fish fertilizer with nitrogen are all I ever need to add!

Flower Girl ftw!! đź‘Ś

@Frimpong your the reason I started using Flower Girl!! Haha! And it sounds like @Rozgreenburn amd I are on the same page. I use a rough 50/50 mix of Ocean Forest and Coco with Flower Girl mixed in and top dressed when needed in flower. I have added guano in the past, but not sure it helped a lot. I also use Alaska Fish Fertilizer in veg and as a booster early in flower. I have yet to notice one crying for CalMag, but I do have some on hand just in case. I am loving this “keep it simple stupid” method!

Same here........he turned me on to Flower Girl a while ago. I just dump it on the surface approx mid-flower and water thru it with Jacks.

The Alaskan Fish Fertilizer has been excellent in veg. You can see it in the foliage and the roots.

Both these have been going up in price steadily.

I really love Dr.Earth, especially their bagged organic mixes. You can't beat the simplicity. I've top dressed, made layers in the soil with their different mixes, as well as made teas. It's a very versatile product. I've also mixed directly into the soil, it got me through veg and early flower and then I'd use MKP as a bloom booster in the final wks for some huge buds.

As for the Alaska Fish Fertilizer the Morbloom (0-10-10) isn't organic like the Alaska (5-1-1).
I remember both being very acidic particularly the Morbloom even more so, I had to use a large amount of "PH Up" to bring things to an acceptable PH level. These products will burn the living shit out of your plants if you over do it, moderation is key.
