Let's get a football thread going on, assuming there are other fans! College, NFL, let's go!

I'm a University of Virginia fan, born at their hospital and raised fairly close by. I think their football program is on the rise with Bronco Mendenhall at the helm, he's steering it in the right direction given the academic focus UVA has which sorta hampers their recruiting. I like his focus on accountability and solid, readily quantifiable steps towards creating a winning culture while not compromising on the educational aspect of the University.

As for NFL, I'm a Seahawks fan via my dad. He was a Vikings fan until the addition of Seattle and... Tampa Bay?, got sick of the Vikings losing and jumped ship to the Hawks. I'm a firm believer in Russell Wilson, I think he's a stud that knows how to win and how to play smart, DK Metcalf is the truth too. Just need Pete Carroll to get that defense back into shape! That Jamal Adams trade is looking worse every day.

I love football well I used too I don’t watch it to much anymore but I always liked the lions just cause they sucked lol everyone needs a fan haha but now when I watch football I like whoever is winning unless it’s Tom Brady he can lose for once lol

If you added up all the lifetime minutes that I have spent watching or playing "football"...you would only need one hand...it could be missing a few fingers as well.

What do I know about football?
I know when my girls were about 7 or 8, they did cheerleading. During the game the guys on the sideline with the two poles with a chain between them would look at each other, nod, then sidestep advance forwards.
I asked someone sitting near me what they were doing. He saw them do this and flipped out. The parents for the other team doing the sideline thing we're cheating.
After review of the tape and other tapes...they were banned for cheating and my girls quit cheerleading.
That is my experience with football.
Although I am now about 205-210#...I was only about 120# in high school and when I went into the military...the smallest person that played football for my HS was about 200#...so...needless to say...I had to play soccer & baseball for survival reasons.
So for me...it just does not exist in my world...and the fact with all the non sense surrounding pro or college sports...I don't have time for that shit. I do not watch any sports unless they happen to show the WEG.
