There's a few I could probably still think of, but I stopped with brand loyalty on cars a very long time ago LOL. Personally I feel like any reliable car is better than a bike, though I do admit I have preferences on which TYPE of car from a brand I'd like; Ford for example, I like their Trucks. Chevy I like the Cars, and Pontiac I like the memories of what a GTO is supposed to look like (AND sound like) an of course that beautiful 442! I also....Being a Rockabilly Cliche love old Cadillac's LOL.
Yep agreed . I really don’t give a shit what I drive as long as it does the job and is reliable , oh yeah it’s gotta look stylish to a degree .
I remember when my Grandfather ( bless his soul ) left me his 1972 Volvo . They looked at that time like a Tupperware container with wheels . I was about 28 from memory . I’m thinking fuck I look instantly 50 years older sitting in it before I even engaged drive . Grandma was still alive so shit man how am I gonna get out of this ?? Thankfully my wife agreed to take ownership and blinged it up a bit ( yes even Volvo's can be blinged with limitations )

I had heard those Ford acronyms over the years, and eventually worked with a Ford loyalist that made up his own Chevrolet diddy when he was in high school:
Carburetor Hisses, Excessive Valve Rattle, Oil Leaks Every Time....?
I see no lies here haha. I'm trying to come up with one that calls out their evap control sensors and garbage wiring harnasses... love my GM trucks but there is virtually always a check engine light on for something stupid lol. But I also typically get a quarter million miles with no major repairs out of my trucks so I accept these idiosyncrasies...

Dude, I love older Volvos! They're hard as hell to find here in the states but there's a late 80s 240 sedan that came turbo charged with a 5 speed manual that I would love to own someday

I do like manual transmissions; When I used to be a street racer, it was awesome because you can control the RPMs yourself and get better take off. Years ago I had a 2008 VW Rabbit from Germany, and it had the DSG transmission where you could shift into an almost manual transmission mode and "shift" gears up and down; It was pretty sweet and had an automatic safety cut off where if you started getting to close to the red line it would shift it to the next gear for you.

I'd drive nothing but manuals if I could but apparently I'm in the minority...Couldn't even find a small suv that wasn't an automatic when I was shopping for a car recently. Only options were the Wrangler and Bronco which while cool wouldn't have been very practical for me.

Do we have a car thread? Feel bad I completely derailed Frims thread here lol

We could make one so we aren't derailing Frimpong's thread. I think I still have pictures of like Pin up style models with awesome looking cars.

I just couldn’t get my head around the look of it lol . Good solid engineering but just not for me at the time . I stuck with my old HX Holden station wagon . A traditional Aussie Bong/ Surfy ?‍♂️ wagon back in the day .
