Greetings to the PhenoHunter family. I hope you and yours are having a good one...make it how you want it. Its your reality too.

The latest seed project is complete. Our late brother Classic's Romulan x Korean Skunk was increased through an open pollination making the f2s. Classic did the foot work personally collecting the Korean Skunk directly from the source in the evergreen forests of southern Korea. Unfortunately this strain is not available in it's pure form. The closest we have is an f1 with the Romulan. Only 2 males were selected. One leaning towards the Korean Skunk and the other leaning toward the Romulan.

Well, there are some pure Korean Skunk seeds available through a certain seed bank. They were sent in by Classic Seeds. The seed bank than ripped Classic off, relabeled the seeds with their own bogus story behind them and are now charging more then $1k per pack. Dont be fooled, Classic from Classic Seeds is the man who collected them. Too many stories like this are abound in the cannabis scene.

The f2s will be released free for a tribute to Classic of Classic Seeds.

Im just getting started separating the seeds after a 2 month dry/cure. There were some other types that went in with the project. If anyone is interested in testing any of this gear please let me know.

-Romulan x Korean Skunk f2s.

-RKS/Deep Chunk/Lime Skunk (3 phenos) x Romulan/Korean Skunk. #4 was my favorite. She was the stinker of the three.

-Hash Berry/Romulan/White Widow x Romulan/Korean Skunk.

-BCG13 (3 phenos) x Romulan/Korean Skunk.

-Wedding Cake x Romulan/Korean Skunk.

-GMO x Romulan/Korean Skunk.

-MAC/UK cheese (shop cut) x Romulan/Korean Skunk.

Not all these mothers were grown out for smoke. I selected them and pollinated them straight away. But they all had desirable traits as far as my perception was concerned. A couple weeks ago a copy of each was sent to another brother for a grow and smoke test. Those results are a while out yet.

All the same plants that were pollinated by the Romulan x Korean Skunk males went in the room with the Killer Queen male too. Those are in the final 2 weeks of bloom and will go up for testing in a few months...after the cure and separation.

If anyone is interested in testing please help yourself. I'm happy to share.

What is MAC/UK Cheese ?? I've not heard of this before. I know what Miracle Alien Cookies is but that isn't one I'm aware of.

I've heard of Romulan of course from reading High Times (It's usually listed in seed sales) but I've never had a chance to try that.

Sadly I can't do testing YET (My run is basically full for this season but I'd be more than happy to help with that Cheese at another time......Or save me some, Christmas is coming, I'll have options then LOL). GMO is also a favorite of mine

MAC x UK Cheese = Mac & Cheese from Capulator. I work at a rec farm. The shop sifted through a bunch of his gear. This is the one cut they kept. The shop calls it, and it sells as Gucci.

Packaging/labeling etc. But I'd be happy to send a bunch out to the site. I don't know if you guys have a bean master that does the distribution. If not I'll take info later and get them spread around. I'll make an announcement in a couple weeks once I get everything sorted.

He only had to say CH not even the rest EESE and you would've been all over it. I stir but I love the fact cheese is your favourite. I'm too much of a "deuce bigalow" to constrain myself to one strain. Although skunk and its varieties are a favourite of mine. I like the Romulan x Korean skunk f2 if I was picking. Start with your flagship and what you were setting out to create. However like corpsy, I'm jammed. Got landraces to get through and Jim dandy and.ss growers stash before I can grow anything else. Classic took Chemdog and put it with a male he selected from Vic's Killer Queen.

Texasjack grew some out and selected a male. I put him to work this last round. He was stinky, sticky and slow to grow in veg...

So it would be something like this.
(Romulan x Korean Skunk) x (ChemDog x Killer Queen).

Greetings brother @Psychobilly. RKS or Skunk weed was one of my all time favorites. I've been looking for something comparable since. It's not fair to say we will find a pure Skunk pheno in these seeds. Classic's Lime Skunk is dominate in the RKS/Deep Chunk x Lime Skunk cross. Lots of vigor. Larger plants with NLD expressions were found in those seeds. #4 had very potent odor. The room exhaust was very skunky. More then it's ever been. I think it was coming from RKS/Deep Chunk x Lime Skunk #4. She definitely has some skunk under tones. You can tell from the scent of that plant that Classic was playing with a real skunk.

I was given a lesson on the Road Kill Skunk vs Skunk nomenclature last week. Im a little post dated to those times. This is what I gleaned. The real Skunk weed started coming around in the late 70's or early 80's. Nobody called it "Road Kill Skunk" back then. It's just Skunk weed, skunk, BC skunk, the Skunk etc. Road Kill Skunk came later. After the term "Skunk weed" was being used to represent anything and everything besides real Skunk. The folks who were working with the real Skunk weed started using Road Kill Skunk so other folks knew it was the real deal. That lesson came with so much more history I wish I could share it all here. Club rules says I can't copy and paste anything out side of the club. I was using RKS because that's what the label on the bottle of seed I received from Classic's freezer read.

There are some Skunk x Skunk or RKS x RKS seeds around from what I heard. Except they are mixed up with a few other types. Classic used to collect all the seeds that fell on the floor as the plants were drying from each project. He crossed a Skunk to a Skunk at some point. Those seeds are mix in with a few other females too. I'm going to give them a shake soon to if anything sticks.

What's the deal with the BCG13?

Geetings brother @Kanzeon. Thanks for stopping in. I was just enjoying reading through your thread last week. Love the projects. Thanks for sharing!

...Thats a good question. BCG13 was what the label read on the bottle of seed. There were 6 seeds. One runt, 2 males that expressed auto flowering traits...releasing pollen in veg. I was going to make f2s but the males freaked out. The 3 remaining females are still here. All 3 are different in structure and flower shape. One has a pine/hash scent and 2 have a more sweet/hash scent. Some copies were sent off to an older head that handled many of the past G13 variations. I'm waiting to see what he thinks before any or if any selections are made. The females were seeded with the Romulan x Korean Skunk for some sort of preservation considering their brothers were culled. And I think they might hold some good stuff.

Classic of Classic Seeds passed last year...see you on the flip side brother. I was bless with access to his stock. He had a freezer full of seeds. They are still being sorted. Many of his labels were abbreviated. One of his close friends he used to work with is trying to figure out what everything is based on what he knew Classic was working with. These guys were/are pioneers. They've been growing and making seed since their early 20's. Now into their 70's or passed. They were sharing and trading seeds with the heads of the day. Most of the stuff we're playing with today was built from the stuff they were playing with then. I'm just getting a look into the history of it all now. If you ever come across posts from @Classic, @Texasjack or @Kaygu on the older sites they are a history treasure worth a look.

Oh yeah, one of the great things about cannabis is that it's obvious that modern breeders are standing on the shoulders of giants. This is definitely the golden age of cannabis breeding.

I love G13 crosses, so I'd be happy to give some of those a home when the time comes.
