That they do brother. The dream must be payed forward.

CHM are a little more costly to cool then LED. However they bring the inferred, uv, uvb spectrum that help heat up the surface of the leaves to increase the transpiration rate, among other things. LED seems to have a better over all spectrum for plant growth and are a little more efficient due to the reduction in heat. I'm not an expert in lighting or light spectrum. This is just my observation.

I wish the best for this company too. The owners are good people. I'm learning lots about growing at scale. But this isn't my end game. If the opportunity ever presents itself to work or run a living soil operation I would probably try it. But I wouldn't leave these guys hanging without a suitable replacement.

Keep it lit and hold it up.
Be well,

So uh...... They got Cheese going there?

Lol...I was just gifted a cutting of the inhouse Cheese Punch...Mac and Cheese x Purple Punch. It has some of the most potent effects of anything that's come through here. It still lacks a little flavor so it's not that popular in the dispensaries. I'm thinking of crossing it with this Killer Chem male. That's if he proves worthy.

Mac and Cheese and Cheese Punch are the only 2 cuttings I have with any Cheese lineage. None of the the offspring are growing.

-Wedding Cake x Killer Chem
-GMO x Killer Chem
-Gary Payton x Killer Chem
-Pineapple Lemonade x Killer Chem
-RKS/DC/Lime Skunk #4 x Killer Chem
-Pineapple Lemonade x Romulan/Korean Skunk
That's what up at the moment.

Sorry, its infrared spectrum..not inferred. These phones seem to have an answer for everything. Except their answers aren't accurate.

Just a head up for anyone who recieved testers with the Killer Chem male. Not many went out but just incase...I have, had 45 plants from that male in bloom at 5 and 6 weeks. I found intersex traits in a couple plants from every mom, moms that are known to be stable. Whether the the parents didn't get along or it's just an unstable male. Its probably the male.

PLEASE proceed with CAUTION or DONT risk it.

Sorry for any inconvenience.
Onwards and upwards!

So I just got back home from work...the rec warehouse. I recieved a text from my boss this morning saying Bill's room with some of those Killer Chem crosses in it was full of seeds. He immediately thought, as well as I did, that those seed plants were responsible. I did find a few anthers under the canopy a couple days ago. So he said I needed to come to cut down the rest of them in my room because he cant afford to loss another room to seed (roughly $40k in product besides the man hours, soil and electricity.) I dont blame him. I was sick all day over it thinking the cause was my tester plants. However the concentration of heavily seeded flowers were at the opposite end of the room. Right under the fluorescent fixture on the wall. It had all different rec cuts on it. Including the Wedding Poop, which I saw push out anthers last run in a room that wasn't stressed. I showed my boss when I found them and we're still running that cut. So after we all got together to hash it out today. Bill said he might have left the fluorescent light on overnight toward the beginning of the cycle. That all makes sense now. If it was the tester plants that were responsible for pollinating the room. That table would have the most mature seeds. That was not the case. The table under the light and the one directly down wind from it were the most seeded tables. So I chopped down 45 ladies for nothing. There were some really promising looking expressions in that bunch. Was kinda hoping to find something nice/original for the shop the grow and sell. As we all know leaving fluorescent lights on overnight in a flower room will stress plants. Lesson learned...again. Oh, and "Bill" was a BS name to protect his real one.

Today I saw some finished flowers from that Killer Chem male from another guy that just got chopped. They were beautiful. I'll ask that gentleman if I can share the photos of his plants...different site. Hes a good guy so I should have them posted up in a few days or as soon as I get a response.

So far the only issues I've seen with the Killer Chem crosses came from a super stressed room.

Whoa...you had me a bit disapointed when I first heaard your concerns on the Killer Chem's...but thankfully it was all Bill's fault and not the Killer Chem's so my plans to run them haven't changed...So let's all remember folks...Don't be like Bill...be like Orion and use green lights in your room...that way if you forget to shut it off...it hasn't caused a seed in 20+ years!

Couldn't agree more. But in Bill's defence, he didn't build the rooms. The owner installed those lights. I just put a peice of duct tape over the switch in the room I'm working. I dont want that happening to me.

Nice thread bro, sorry it took so long to get here. Big fan of Classics stuff and the RKS , but been 20 years since I’ve seen that level of DAAANK! I remember having constant access to flower, and a buddies mom was growing it for years and years. You could smell it a block away in all directions no joke. The kids at the high school would always talk about it but no one (who didn’t know) ever pinpointed the exact house. I wish to God I would have asked June for some beans or cuts while she was with us, and her son sold off everything after she passed also ??‍♂️. That Korean skunk stuff sounds intriguing. But I’m mostly intrigued by that killer Chem stuff as you know. Very cool thread, absolutely love the preservation work. (I feel everyone should be doing their part when coming across old gems or landrace lines etc. it’s not easy but oh so rewarding especially seeing/hearing how stoked everyone is to receive stuff they wanted forever. Not to mention knowing you’ve helped keep it around another 10 years at least and get it into peoples hands who would otherwise have zero chance. Much respect my friend, keep up the great work
