I have a bunch of Big Sir Holy weed seeds I got from DocD@magic spirit seed co. I'm pretty sure he sourced them from Bodhi that he had access too.
Planning on mid summer run of them to see what's up with them. If I come up with something good I will let you know.
Awesome, I remember you mentioned that in one of our other conversations. If it's from Bodhi and DocD it's legit. The plan is to do an open pollination with as many siblings as I can get to grow. From what TJ explains there are purple and green phenos in that stock. I'm hoping to preserve as much diversity as possible. Maybe we can get together on this.
I recieved some of the original NL stock. (Pre Nevil and the dam. Nevil only got a cut to bring back. So NL5 etc is probably a hibred with an acclaimed Afghani from what I've heard. He didn't get pure seed stock like he wanted.) The plan was to work th NL stock after the BSHW. Classic had the pure NL stock and gave a bunch of those seeds to Kaygu1 from Coastal Seed Co. Kagyu was working with Bob Hemphill at the time. Kaygu gave some of that stock to Bob. He was the one who did the open pollination with those. It's mentoned in one of Bob's podcasts...I think this one.

Bob is using a male he found in the stock he made in some of his crosses. Kaygu used a cut in some of his gear too. Bob then gave some stock back to Kaygu. Classic had just passed. So TJ received some of the fresh NL stock. He just sent some this way. They are still pretty fresh so I dont expect any issues with germination. I remember TJ saying Classic did sell some pure NL stock back in the day. But it sounds like every who has it now agreed not to release it pure. TJ gave me permission but I'll probably try to get hold of Bob for a conversation before I do anything with it. But some crosses are definitely in the dreamscape. BSHW x NL or Maybe even RKS x NL. Who knows what will stick between now and then. Fun for the masses for sure.
I'm trying to work the older stuff before it loses vitality. Maybe I'll wait to do the BSHW project after you sort yours out. If you're down to share some copies of the nicer expressions you find, or send a copy of each before you put them into bloom. I'll keep them healthy till you are able to make your selections. I'll make sure you get a good stockpile of the fresh seed stock back to you in exchange.
Classic had a vial of seeds labeled RKS x RKS + Mazar, Cali-O and Skunk #1, I believe. There might be another mom in the mix. I forget, it's stored in the fridge at the moment. But its supposed to be legit oldschool Roadkill. I'll have to sort through to find the pure Skunk if it's in there. Some DNA testing may be required to make the final selection making sure it is what its said to be. Classic would keep all the seeds that fell to the floor off the drying plants from his projects. I'm assuming that's how those seeds got mixed up. I'm happy to do the work to find out if a true RKS can still be found. Maybe even a breeding pair for pure RKS stock. This is all still a pipe dream at the moment. But it's probably the closest we'll get to finding a true oldschool skunk plant. They shouldn't be hard to find if they are in there considering that scent sticks out like a roadkill skunk. Those are burning a hole in my pocket as well. So it's a toss up.
