GREAT AMERICAN AUTO RACE by Twenty20

More than a little ashamed to admit it, but I'm already down the 1 Triskit and 1 Trizzlers I started a few weeks ago. Latter popped but never emerged from the soil, the former was a bit stunted from cold nights but was soldiering along and then something chomp topped the main stem, leaving the important parts shriveled on the ground, so that was the end of that. Gonna wait a bit till I can guarantee no cold nights and then try again with the remaining seeds. Also hopefully fixed my hungry intruder problem. It's cold comfort but I keep telling myself the Triskit might not have done that well anyway because of the cold weather stunting.

PS: bout them cement shoes..... coming to a giveaway near you.

So, what's up with the lineage listed on these packs of Trizzlers?
I just got some freebies with my order, but they're listed as TK x Watermelon Zkittlez. Jag's are listed as Watermelon Zkittlez x Triks?

Right on, but Triks is TK crossed with what, to make it auto?
Also, Jags pack is written as Watermelon Zkittlez as the mother, and Triks as the father. Mine in the cardboard breeder package has Trizzlers listed as TK first, and Watermelon Zkittlez second.
I got Triks too, in the 9 pack, and I'm looking forward to running all of them.
I'm just a bit of a stickler for genetics, so I just wanna get things straight.
Figured this would be the place to ask.
I'm also trying to catch Neptune to check out some of your other stuff. Any idea when that'll be? I checked their site the other day, but nothing jumped out at me, regarding the race.

Saw a lot of chatter about planting on the full moon last night, so I said what the hell and decided to start the race.

My stepdad reached out to me this weekend about looking for some seeds. He hasn’t grown in 25 years or more, but just had neck and shoulder surgery. He’s board sitting at home and he likes “natural” medicine better, so he wants to grow a couple outside this summer. I was going to set him up with some clones and a nute care package, but I think I will give him one each of these auto flowers when they sprout. I feel that it may be a little easier on a newbie and he can reap the rewards long before the shitty weather threatens the photos. Crossing my fingers the full moon gives these girls some super powers!

Well everyone the race is over for me. All 4 made it to harvest no problem at all and I couldn’t be more happy with the result. I chopped them at day 65 from sprout they definitely could have gone 70+ If you want to really pack that weight but my trichs were 100% milky and I needed the room.

here they are hanging to dry

I'm here a little late but I'm gonna post the latest pics I have on my 2 whiskys and 2 triks. This is from day 48. They are on day 50 now. Wz bushed out nicely with some lst but both triks stayed very small. Triks is ahead of whiskey zulu as far as trichome production. These were started under 2 100w quantum led boards and after 3 weeks they had all showed preflowers so I put them in my 4x4 tent under a Dr.Bigg 265w led cobb and a 235w parfactworks ra2000. I also have 2 trizzlers in the tent on day 35. All are grown using promix and the complete hydroponics research veg+bloom dirty line of nutrients plus amino aide and big swell from Aurora Innovations. Whiskeys and triks in 5 gal grow bags and Trizzlers in 3 gallon bags. I will take some better pics with a better camera later and post.

These are the Triks on day 50. Very small but very frosty and they still have a ways to go.

These are the Whiskey Zulus on day 50. They are a little behind the Triks on bud development and frost but I believe they will go a bit longer than the Triks so I'm not too worried about it. The smell on these two is phenomenal. Great job on the genetics Twenty20! These have been really fun to grow.

Since it looks like I scared Adam away with questions about their genetics, I thought I'd let everyone know that it looks like Neptune got their auto race gear in.
Not sure what the coupon code is, but if you add it to your cart, it'll show up costing 100. Good luck to anyone who's looking for them.

I listened to Twenty20's podcast about autoflowers on YouTube. It's very informative and he talks about how they create their autos. Before they got into the autoflower business they would come across plants that had the autoflower trait and they would get rid of them since it was an undesirable trait. He encountered someone in Alaska that needed an autoflower strain that could be grown outside in alaska during their short growing season. That's what got him started on the autoflower project. So instead of getting rid of the plants with autoflower traits he started to work with them and create strains of autos that work the same way as traditional autos but without ruderelis being in the genetics. I highly suggest listening to their YouTube podcasts on the subject. Hope this helped. Also. When you add the great American auto race to your cart it does say $100 but at checkout it takes off the $100.

Cool, I'll have to give it a listen, thanks! Glad the packs discount down. I figured they might, but didn't go all the way through checkout, so thanks for the update.
I've got Durban Sunrise, Triks, Trizzlers, and Vida Mints going now, and looking forward to seeing how they pan out in a few months.
The exact genetics aren't a huge deal, since I can't keep cuts anyway. I'm just a nerd like that, and wanted to straighten things out for my own curiosity.
Results I'm seeing from those already further along have me expecting nice things!
It'll be interesting to see how close these come to cookies and TK flavors and smells.

Sorry, I clocked for for a while. We have multiple people printing labels and sometimes they confuse the donor/receiver order. With Trizzlers, they are F2 so we reversed a Trizzler F1 and crossed it onto a Trizzler F1. The F1 was Watermelon Zkittliz (F4) crossed with Triangle Kush (F5) aka Triks (reversed). Please check out our website for original explanation on where the auto trait comes from. But to make it quick, it comes from a Puerto Rican autoflower variety called Double White. We don't always list the ancestors, especially when it goes back 5 generations. I hope this clears up your confusion.
