Oh nice! Thought it would be a Cheese cross from the name but as a Skywalker fan that must smell pretty nice :)

I recently got some seeds from guy here in Alberta that's getting into breeding for cash and have some crosses with Ashava Valley Cheese.

Crossed with MeatBreath, Stockton Slap, Chem Dog and Mac1. A few others too like Freakshow IBL.

Ashava Valley Cheese is a very resinous and monster yielding Indica dominant variety.
This F1 hybrid variety is a cross of our Aztech Genetics Cheese with a very carefully selected Afghani indica.

Large yields as well as a strong heavy hitting indica high make this a popular choice for commercial growers. Her heavy resin production makes Ashava Valley Cheese a good choice for hash making and concentrates. Her stems rapidly fill out during flowering giving some strong, sweet and spicy smells. Good filtration is advised late in flower if smell is likely to cause issues.

Ashava Valley is an area of Afghanistan famous for it’s Cheese.

This strain typically has a THC content of 23% and higher.

Thank God I didn't see this last night after Beer #2!

I've not heard of Ashava Valley Cheese, do you have any info on that ?? Nevermind, continued reading after my eyes went back to normal size. He crossed a Cheese into Afghani kind of like Big Buddha Cheese, nice :) Who is this guy ? Does he have a site ? Do you have these seeds he's done?

He crossed it with MeatBreath, Chemdog and MAC ??? AND Freakshow ??!?!?!

Found that version of Cheese:
Our Cheese comes from the original Exodus clone and just like our Skunk Deluxe has also had the introduction of Afghan genetics. This has created more uniform, higher yielding and higher resin production on plants. The strain was worked to make sure the potent and uniquely classic Cheese smell remained throughout.

Our version yields above average and will usually take between 7 -9 weeks depending on personal preferences. This girl has true Exodus Cheese genetics and has been selectively bred For that classic sour, cheesy aroma. She does well both outdoor and indoor, inside you are going to want good filtration to combat late flower smells. Suitable for scrog and other low stress techniques.

 Oh my.... Have you grown any of these ? How do you get them ? Ever been to Michigan ??

@Deebs Still waiting on that hand fanning yourself reaction bro...

Dude! If that beard was more red your avatar could be my twin brother I shit you not. A few months ago I was burning trash and branches outside and burned the shit out of my 'stash so shaved everything down to 1/4 and it's all finally looking like that again. I may have to shave the beard so I can wear a respirator soon. I have a lot of pot saved up that needs to be made into oil so will be working with naphtha and ISO a bunch and don't want to do it outside. My well-ventilated shop is much better.

I've been the subject of many doppleganger sightings. The closest was a patient's house I went to and the Husband/son-in-law stops for a moment at the door like he's seen a ghost. While I'm placing the medical equipment, he's going on and on about how I look just like his wife's brother.... that lives in Costa Rica of all places.
He's keeps going... "Wow, it's amazing the resemblance... "
Then his wife walks in and the whole process starts over.

She ended up digging out her most recent photo and sho 'nuff it was me with a goatee when I was swigging a few 40's a day. I kept my beard at a #3-4 back then.

I've had that happen a few times in my life. In a bar in Surrey, BC 40 years this guy walks up and belts me right upside the head. Turns out I was the spitting image of his bro-in-law who walked out on his sister with their new baby. He felt so bad he bought the beer the rest of the night for me and my buddy. Good bottled stuff too and we packed them away. Then up here in Bumf*ck Alberta an old lady friend of ours works at a deli counter in a supermarket and some guy walked up to the counter and she had to stop what she was doing to go over and thought it was me at first. Started telling him how good those CBD meds I gave her were working for her before realizing it wasn't me. He said , "That's cool. Where can I get some?". She was so embarrassed. :) Another guy I know that hangs out in town a lot said he called to the guy across the street and thought I was ignoring him at first. I'm a fairly unique looking old dude in these regions with long red hair half way down my back and the red/grey beard thing going on. Been called Willie Nelson a few times but I don't see it. lol

Real small town down the road from us so that guy wasn't a local or the old girl would have known him. She's been here and working with the public for 50 years and we've only been here since '01. She drops by at least once a week and fills the wife in with all the local gossip. I don't much care.

I've actually mistaken a couple people for someone I knew. Kinda embarrassing. Had a nurse we did business with frequently start talking to me in the supermarket line. I wasn't used to seeing her out of the nursing garb so it took me a few moments to realize who it was.

Up until about 2002, I used to run into random people from my past in really odd spots. Kinda glad that trend stopped.

I have yet to grow any as I only got them about a month ago. I signed up at a forum about a month before that where they're all about seed swapping. One of the guys there started a chat and seemed to want to get me to try a couple of his creations. I need to make up a seed list so didn't really have anything to trade with but have the chemicals for making STS and some potassium hydroxide for doing the Beam's test for CBD so sent him some of that stuff for now. He's aiming to sell his creations and calls his seed company 7th Green Skunk, 'Our shit stinks!'

The Freakshow is just Freakshow regulars. All the others are fems I'm pretty sure. There's one auto called Demon Auto IBL and I'll probably never grow those out.

In the last year I must have got 20 new different strains at least. Like where the fack do I start! I got some Paonia Purple Paralyzer that are top of the list then a dozen more I hope I have time to get to. I'm just coming out of an overly ambitious run that has seen a bunch of plants die from neglect or get culled from further work. I need to keep it real so I can breed each decent strain as I grow them and I don't have a ton of space tho am planning to make more space. Using the bedroom closet to collect pollen or grow clones a lot of the time. I want to put an 8x4 grow tent downstairs next to the grow room but need shorter than 80" so need to clean up the area and just build an add-on. Got lots of panda film so just need to frame in the space and use that for walls with plywood being $100/sht these days. Would need 5 sheets.

Another forum I've been hanging out at for a few does the same so have plenty of stuff from there. Mostly pollen chucks but many are from guys who know what they're doing. Many I've tried over the years have been duds, herms or not floating my boat so focusing more on good med strains now.

He didn't create the Cheese one. Just used it for some crosses I'm pretty sure.

I've always been bad with names and it's getting worse all the time. I run into people I know fairly well in town and just can't recall their names and it's embarrassing to ask. I keep forgetting my grandkids names. Not all of them but one in particular most often. It's not even a hard name, Evan, but just had to go ask the wife and she's never met him.

I finally made contact with my birth family a few years back to find out my b-mother died of dementia about 6 months before I made contact. Diagnosed at 65 and dead at 75. I'll be 68 very soon so that's a bit of a worry but I'm not losing sleep over it.

Cheese strains and Chemdog strains are my absolute favorites ever :) any new ones I hear about I generally add to a list of "want" lol. Hopefully early next year I'll be able to track those down :)

Poutine isnt the same here in Alberta.
Infact, your pretty hard pressed to find an authentic poutine here at all unless you make it yourself (and I do).
Eastern Canada has the best Poutine by far! ( it actually comes from Quebec originally)
and you’re right @Psychobilly , there are many many ways to make it..
Taco beef and nacho cheese for Mexica poutine, spaghetti sauce for Italian as example, really there is all kinds, and if you can imagine it, we’ll build it! lol
