hey @stanknugzz77 it’s been a bit! If it makes you feel any better I have a couple of Tropicanna Cookies that you gifted me running in the greenhouse. Everybody in the house except for a few are slow to show sex but I have high hopes that I got a girl or two from your beans! I moved one outside cuz she wanted to stretch. She seems happy. Keep on keeping on w what you’re doing brother. I hope everything is well on your end, canna or not.

Hey Nuggz, on your "Tropicana Cookies x Herijuana" -did you experience more than one of the phenos to give the full on mango terps? If you ran multiples, was this something you found in more than one plant?
Here is the information on my selections of the F1s:
As a side note, anyone who received any of the (Tropicanna Cookies x Herijuana) F1s from me should think about looking through those sooner than later. I ran 30 and 19 turned out to be female. Around 85% (16/19) of the females have varying degrees of this intense "perfume" smell that turns into mangoes at the end of flower and stays around through the dry/cure and flavor when smoked with most all of them. I am not talking about a faint hint of mangoes either. Definitely a more in your face, "fuck that reeks of mangoes" smell. I am madly in love. I have kept 2 females and 1 male that I have been working with quite a bit and also made a nice batch of F2s. Shout out to @Buzzer777 for the Herijuana! Positive vibes...
I am not sure if anyone else has even run the F1s. I gifted quite a few of those and I have sent out a ton of the F2s as freebies with orders on Strainly and still have a shitload of F2s left. I can't tell you whether anyone has looked through any of the F2s either. I haven't ran any of the F2s because I have 2 females and 1 male from the F1s that I run religiously.

Definitely a lot of mango to be found in the F1s and I wouldn't be surprised if it was similar in the F2s. Positive vibes...

I hope all is well with you brother! I truly appreciate you checking in. I recall you inquiring about them, now that you mention it. Please definitely tag me whenever you post them and I will be sure to check them out. I hope that you get a female, if not two and that you enjoy them! Thank you for the encouragement! I am sure that the love and dedication that I put into my craft is for something. Life is good. Positive vibes...

Attempted to pollinate:

Tropicanna Cookies x Herijuana
Hazmat OG x Blowfish
Black Triangle F2

With pollen from my Cherry West Bc male. Time will tell.

I also have a crop of Cherry West Bc F2 seeds that should be ready to harvest in 2-3 weeks.

I am not sure which Bc the Cherry West is. Mean Gene sent me the bag, but it didn't have a number denoting the generation. I keep meaning to ask him, but I am rarely on IG. I have just been assuming they are Bc1.

A humorous/interesting note (to me at least haha) about the Cherry West Bc: I wasn't sure what the parentage of the Cherry West Bc was the first time that I flowered out my females. I was hoping for some cherry from them at least. I finally got some time to check on them about 1/2-3/4 way through their first round of flowering and a lot of them had cherry smells, but the majority of the females have this intense cherry limeade thing going on. I thought that was a nice surprise. When I finally took the time to look up the lineage of the Cherry West Bc, it ended up being Cherry West x (Cherry West x Cherry Limeade). Then it made a lot more sense haha.

I liked this because I feel like we can subconciously trick our senses into detecting things that might not actually be there with preconceived notions. Without knowing that the Limeade was in the genealogy, there was less chance that I could have fabricated the limeade smell in my mind. Positive vibes...

Shit. I forgot to mention that I also attempted to pollinate my Stagger Lee (Original Bubba x Sour Apple IBL) cut from Alien Genetics with pollen from my Cherry West Bc male as well. She leans hard to the Sour Apple IBL side. The Original Bubba leaning phenotypes were nice as well, but they took forfuckingever to veg. Apples & Cherries sounds nice, in theory at least. We shall see. Positive vibes...

Bro I'm not gonna lie if you end up with Apples and Cherry in something that is a Michigan October that I'd love to smell! I seriously hope that happens that would be an incredibly interesting smell!

I see you have a cut of Chem D ? And there was a UK Cheese cross too ? And Motor Breath.... And Race Fuel... Chem de la Chem is a new one for me; Wife's cousin brought that with her for camping last week and I LOVED it! Chem D is currently my favorite of the original Chemdog line, and Chem Brulee is pretty high up too, but I can't help but ask this:

First do you still have the UK Cheese ? Ever crossed Chem D with that one ??? Race Fuel X Motor Breath ? I grow Motor Breath a lot but Race Fuel I've only smoked and gotten to try once, but I feel like a mix of Cheese, Chem, and the Race Fuel and Motor Breath would make some interesting carbon filter stress tests to say the least.

Cheese Dog D and Cheese Breath ? Chem Fuel ? D Breath would be hilarious and I'd smoke the shit out of that. Hope your plants and cuts get back to good health, and please don't get discouraged too much; You got some GEMS in there so turn that frown upside down, and if that doesn't work:

:)
I am not sure how I missed this. The UK Cheese was in a hybird from Caleb at CSI Humboldt. I am pretty sure that it was UK Cheese x Triangle Kush that I ran, but the parents could have been flipped. I could just look back in this thread, but I am lazy haha. I finished those ladies right around the time of my russet mite infestation last year. I trashed all of my flower rooms, so I never got to try the flower. I recall all of them having varying degrees of intriguing smells from the UK Cheese. Caleb sent me a few packs of UK Cheese S1s and I have been meaning to get around to those for a while. So many seeds, so something something something.

Chem D is a finicky lady, but well worth the trouble. She smells like funk. In such a beautiful way. I get so much dimethyltyptamine smells from her, but then again, I have probably done way more DMT than most people, so that could just be me haha.

I lost the Motorbreath #15 cut to the same russet mite fuckery. I miss her, but the Chem D definitely fills a little bit of that void. Motorbreath #15 is Chem D x San Fernando Valley OG by Jimmynitz of Pisces Genetics. No one seems to know where the fuck he got to. Weird.

Chem Del La Chem F2 is definitely good shit. I have finally narrowed it down to a male and female to work with. More Chem D in that hybrid too. I fuck with Chems and OG and Diesels and foul funky odors quite a bit haha. I enjoy Top Dawg's work. JJ has been in the game longer than most.

I appreciate you on turning my frown upside down haha. It is just the natural ebb and flow of life. I was just down and life was feeling like kicking me for a second. The highs wouldn't feel as high without some lows. We back.

The pollination of the Stagger Lee with pollen from my Cherry West Bc was successful and seeds are forming. As long as everything goes well, Apples and Cherries should be a go. I am definitely stoked to see what is hiding in that hybrid. I appreciate your interest! Positive vibes...

My Cheese love is pretty well known at this point; The smells..... Mmmmm :)

Yeah Chem D can be a pain in the ass; I only have bag seed beans of it, but the effects, taste, and smell.... I simply don't care if it's hermie beans, that's just less males to have to dig through in my opinion LOL. I love Chem D so much I have two bag seed seedlings outside, and the largest one I cut two clones off (Last season I only had one seedling and I ran out of Chem D a while ago so I increased the number of plants this year) but it's REALLY high on my list of all time favorite strains ever. Blue Cheese has been #1 for me ever since I first tried it, and Chem D and UK Cheese, I'd have to smoke both to see which one was actually #2 on my list LOL. The Chem D last year, went between burnt rubber, and pencil shavings, to straight up lemon cleaning product. LOVE Chem D :)

The Motor Breath I run is also bag seed, but again, I can't afford seeds and cuts for everything I like smoking, so I just run it anyway. I mean, having a plant like that where I end up with over 2 pounds of Motor Breath from a single seedling.... Hard to complain really haha. I may get 10 or so seeds from a plant total, so it's not like it's terrible, and the smell..... Yeah I run it anyway.

And hey, next time you're feeling down, just remember you can always move to Michigan :) Apples and Cherries is a big deal here, and believe me when I say, so are every Chem and Cheese cross you can imagine LOL :)

Oh I love seeing Chem D !!

What's that Dog Patch ??
Think it's face off x black triangle? Not 100 .You can search though using the magnifying glass top right and search for anything on here . Every time I'm searching for something I am very grateful for having it. Especially when you got to go through hundreds of pages.
If its the Lucky Dog Seeds Dog Patch its Chem D x Chem 91 SKVA BX. I have a pack kicking around in the vault.

@Gentlemancorpse is correct, the Dog Patch male is Chem D x (Chem '91 Bc2) from Lucky Dog Seed Co.

The Chem D x Dog Patch is sort of a backcross. I haven't had anyone in the Chem family verify my Chem D cut or anything haha, but I do my very best to only source/work with cuts from reliable sources.

Just like with my Triangle Kush x (Black Triangle F2), I haven't had Bodhi verify that the TK cut that I used for that hybrid is the same TK cut that he used to make the Black Triangle with haha.

Due to it being Black Triangle, I like to refer to that as a "blackcross" haha, which I will also do with my Chem D x Dog Patch hybrid. Or Chem **3 (exponent 3), lovingly.

I only made a small batch of the Chem D x Dog Patch seeds (enough for myself to look through a nice population), in hopes of finding a nice male and using it to pollinate the Chem D again to make the first legitimate backcross to my Chem D cut. All of my Dog Patch females and males were sexually stable, which I was pleasantly surprised by, with there being so much Chem in the lineage. From the Chem D x (Chem D x Dog Patch), I hope to continue to backcross and find something that is as good as the Chem D cut, but also more sexually stable and doesn't throw stamens whenever she is passed. This all depends on me finding nice and also sexually stable males for me to work with. We shall see. Positive vibes...

I never like to speak in certainties. I am hoping to do a larger pollination with my Dog Patch male in the next month or two, if everything goes as planned. I should be including the Chem D cut in that pollination as well, so I will hopefully have a larger batch of the Chem D x Dog Patch seeds. Wish me luck. Positive vibes...

Did you use TK dom parent for the Dog Patch and Dogwalker crosses?
Short answer: yes.

Long answer: I only still hold my Triangle Kush leaning Black Triangle F2 male, after culling the other 2 Black Triangle F2 males that I kept around for a little while. I had only used the '88 G-13/HP male for one hybrid, so I kind of subconsciously selected to keep the TK leaning male. What can I say, I fucking love kush haha.

I have a few different males that I work with quite a bit, so keeping multiples of the same cultivar is more work than I need to be doing, but I still do it often for a little while, just to check out the progeny and actually visually be able to see what each male brings to the table.

I still have both the Triangle Kush and '88 G-13/HP Black Triangle F2 females and they usually run side by side, whether it is taking cuttings, flower or seed production, so if one gets slotted for pollination, they usually both do.

I feel like the TK leaning female gave me less of a seed crop on this last attempt at making the (Black Triangle F2) x Dog Patch, but I would have to check the seed refrigerator to be certain. I always keep the two batches of different seeds separate, except for the odd times that people have ordered both female parent batches of a hybrid and requested the packs mixed. I usually keep them separate on orders, even for single packs that are split, unless requested otherwise.

Objection, your honor; irrelevant. Sustained haha.

Sidebar, did you ever get any of the Dogwalker OG snips that I sent to root? Positive vibes...
