I somehow doubt I'll be driving 8 hours to Southern California at Christmas because of CV, so these will be my next grow once I harvest my Wedding Cake, BooBa and Blacklight Bubba whom I just flipped the 12/12 switch on. Here we go again. Today I pollinated a couple of branches on my GSC leaning phenotype (the female that I prefer) of Tropicanna Cookies F2 female with my last pack of frozen pollen from my Tropicanna Cookies F2 (GSC leaning) stud (I still have the male as well). Hopefully the pollination takes and more seeds for the masses. Also, I am not sure that I ever mentioned it, but I also pollinated one of my Mikado ladies with frozen pollen from the same Tropicanna Cookies F2 male a couple of weeks ago. Those seeds are fattening up nicely. Positive vibes...

I am not sure whether you are referring to the pure '88 G-13/HP seeds or '88 G-13/HP x Tropicanna Cookies being killer, but it seems that only a few pure '88 G-13/HP seeds will be made. Most likely my fault for utilizing too little pollen. I still have the '88 G-13/HP stud though and another female going into flower soon.

I was lucky enough to be gifted '88 G-13/HP seeds around a decade ago by brother NDNGuy. I immediately fell in love with that cultivar and have done quite a bit of work with it over the years. I always love the phenotypes that are greasy as fuck and throw a burnt rubber smell into the mix haha. I truly feel blessed to be able to work with it again. Positive vibes...

I am not sure whether you are referring to the pure '88 G-13/HP seeds or '88 G-13/HP x Tropicanna Cookies being killer, but it seems that only a few pure '88 G-13/HP seeds will be made. Oh wow, that is super cool! I ended up with some of his 79 Xmas bud. Really interesting terps but just vegged way too slow for my needs. I was talking about pure 88 but both that and the cross sound equally amazing. I bet the terps on the Tropicana cross are awesome

The limonene terpenes in the Tropicanna Cookies are fucking stupid potent. Almost too much orange smell/taste on a few phenotypes, if that is possible haha. I sent some of the F3s to a homie who plans to press his ladies. He hasn't even germinated the seeds yet and I am already stoked to see the results. I may have gotten more seeds from the '88 G-13/HP pollination than I thought that I did, but I will do another pollination anyway. NDNGuy was always good to me; I will always do my best to preserve that cultivar and spread it far and wide. Positive vibes...

I fucking miss the White. I haven't come across any cultivar with it in quite some time. I have some Yeti OG x Tropicanna Cookies that are just about dry enough to start germinating. I am excited to hit those up. Positive vibes...

Not really sure where to post this, so this will suffice. Fucking Monkey Balls (Tom Hill's Deep Chunk) is actually pretty on point with what I can recall from Deep Chunk back in the day. I don't mean to sound so surprised, but so often, so many cultivars are not what I recall from the old days. '88 G-13/HP seems to throw way more lemon phenotypes, when burnt tire phenotypes used to be a dime a dozen. Some of those cure to burnt tire, but it is just a little bit different than what I recall so fondly. Anyfuckingway, my female keeper of Monkey Balls will be sticking around for a while and I have some Monkey Balls studs that I need to flower out and narrow down to have some fun with. All in good time. Positive vibes...

PSA: I am disheartened to report that I found what appears to be pollen sacs today on one of my Yeti OG x Tropicanna Cookies females in testing. I have been in a culling mood for the past week or so, so I didn't really even let them get big enough to confirm. I culled her and all other males/females and all of their cuttings. Anyone who received any of those from me, please watch them carefully (as you should any new cultivar), if you still choose to run them. I have not experienced intersex traits with the Yeti OG or the Tropicanna Cookies, so I am not sure why it would express in the hybrid.

With my family obligations and work, my garden has taken the furthest back seat and has been suffering quite a bit lately. I don't really have the time or energy to change that currently. All I can do is axe shit that isn't up to snuff and move on. Positive vibes...
