Growing anything other than weed?

First couple Gazanias blooming that I started from seeds.
Also a Honey Crisp apple plant that was started from seed as my youngest insisted on keeping the seeds. One actually sprouted and grew about 5 foot but flimsy inside. I topped it and planted it outside to see how it goes. Maybe get some nice apples in 7 years or so ha.

So I just wanted to throw this out there. I am going to be taking a lot of Makrut (Kaffir) Lime tree cuttings this fall. If anyone is interested, let me know, Free to all pH members. I would like to test how they do in clone shippers.. I had a somewhat big order last year, luckily they were close and could pick up the trays of clones...Anyways the offer stands..

Decided to cull my outdoor grow last month, but kept the tomato plants. Had enough flower in the freezers for hash so I didn't need it. Still miss the outdoor grow, and will go again next yr.

I think year round outside is 9/10. I'm 6a. We take it out on the deck in the spring, bring it in, in the fall. Thinking of building a small area for them. BTW these things don't just have thorns..freaking spikes..they are...got me many times

A little companion lettuce harvest. These have been shading under my gorilla ghani. the romaine is super thick leaved and buttery sweet. Salad for dinner tonight is gonna rock.

Drowning in zucchini right now haha. This is what's left AFTER I made 3 trays of zucchini parm for the freezer, blanched and froze 6 more and shredded a couple for lemon zucchini muffins. I was gonna actually make the muffins ... but then I got high and played Call of Duty WWII with a friend instead. Theres always tomorrow.

We have squash bugs here so bad we've givin up on them. Those muffins sound delicious.

Yeah the squash bugs hit us hard too. I usually use saltmarsh hay for a mulch and I was told they use that to hibernate through the winter so I switched to wood chips ... I also have been treating the plants with an organic pesticide religiously and crushing the eggs when I see them ... Still have a few but it's helped. They're worse in my winter squash/pumpkin patch because it's so dense I can't get in there to deal with them.
