Growing anything other than weed?

Absolutely takes about 30 days until you can plant it. Just pull the lower leaves until you get a clean nub and suspend it in water. Helps if the top is full it wedges in the glass and keeps nub up. Tried similar with a avocado seed on a stick and failed. Supposed to work too but not for me.

And it takes 2 years to grow one pineapple.

man, i tried to start a pineapple, and my kid ripped it out of the dirt two days after i planted it, thinking i'd made a mistake and "forgot" the garden bed isn't the compost bin. helpful *not* little shit. lol

Gardens coming in a little late but I'm finally getting something other than zucchini and cucumbers... seriously, anyone need some zucchini? I'm so tired of zucchini... the last few went straight from the garden to the chickens

Some black eyed peas. I love these fresh.

They are also my number 1 cover crop. A large source of nitrogen and green manure for my garlic beds. I have a bunch going now

I started out with 72 tomato plants, then made 20 more from the suckers. Most of the large heirlooms have given up already but Mark Twain and Opalka are both still producing. I am drying most of the tomatoes this year

They are starting to stack up, another load tomorrow. Looks like I'm low on gummies too

When one of those buckets comes in, two cats will mow that down very quickly
In the top right corner you can see a catnip plant. I have at least a lb of that curing now. Good chit maynard!

All the garlic's already in. Was a great year, ran about 800.


The only thing that feeds that garlic is the black eyed peas and some wood ash.
