Things are going well. I just wrapped up another feminized cross with a GMOxRootbeer strain as the reversal/pollinator plant. I hit it to the following:
NEW STRAIN -
"GMOxRootbeer S1"
(GMOxRootbeer Bx1) x (GMOxRootbeer Bx1)
From the collaboration of Mene Gene from Mendocino (Freeborn Selections) and Skunktek/Skunk House they bring us the GMO x Rootbeer strain. It is comprised of Rootbeer (Headband x OG Coffee (Hollywood Pure Kush x (Hindu x Black Affie))) from Freeborn Selections and GMO [Cookies] (Chem D x GSC {Forum Cut}) from Skunk House. The strain has a very unique smell of sweet garlic. It produces nice chunky purple buds and is very potent.
NEW STRAIN -
"Peter Parker"
White Widow x GMOxRootbeer
This strain uses the classic "White Widow" from Greenhouse Seed Co. and GMOxRootbeer. For those who never experienced the original White Widow you are in for a treat. It has a very unique/old school terp profile paired with a high trichrome count. "Peter Parker" is a great combo of a new and an old strain.
NEW STRAIN -
"Bad Fruit"
Apples & Bananas
{(Platinum Cookies x Granddaddy Purple) x Blue Power} x Gelatti x (GMOxRootbeer)
The Apples & Bananas strain was a heavy yielder that produced very solid buds. The terpenes were incredible. They had a smell of rotten apple with a slight hint of banana. The buds were trichrome rich and very potent. Combined with the GMOxRootbeer strain, this should make an awesome pair!
NEW STRAIN -
"GMO Hammer"
African Hammer #1
(Black Congolese IX x Thor's Hammer XXL Auto F4) x (GMOxRootbeer)
The African Hammer is made up of Black Congolese IX and Thor's Hammer XXL Auto F4. This is a sativa leaner and has an old school african sativa terp profile while still carrying over some newer traits from the Thor's Hammer such as yield and potency. After being crossed with the GMOxRootbeer this stain should be a knockout and brought slightly towards the middle making it more of a hybrid than a sativa-dominant strain.
NEW STRAIN - "Conductor"
Ghost Train Haze #1 (Ghost OG x Neville's Wreck) x (GMOxRootbeer)
The mother of this cross is the Ghost Train Haze #1 strain. This strain won 1st place Sativa at the High Times Cannabis Cup in 2014. It is a sweet mango flavored strain that is extra sticky and will certainly get your head in the right space. Paired with the GMOxRootbeer, it should maintain the potency and create another blend of interesting terpenes. Just like the "GMO Hammer" it will most likely slide away from the sativa like profile and be more of a hybrid. Nonetheless "Conductor" should still make a great strain for all.
I'm very excited about these new crosses and this will probably be my last breed for a while. Thanks to everyone who got my genetics and has or is currently running them. It makes my day to hear all the feedback on the different varieties.
