Just snapped this photo of a Sweet Skunk x C99 tester that's due to come down shortly. Seeing a fair bit of amber under the scope.


My skills have improved since last i grew this cross, and this girl is looking a lot better than any previous tries. Looking forward to sampling a cured harvest.

A bit slow on the draw, but a Welcome! to you anyway.. I'll think you'll find, as I do, that drama is one thing there is very little of here. One of the best things about this place, and there are many great things about pH. Ofc it's a credit to the folks who run the show, and the members.
It's been many years since I've felt so "at home" on a forum.

Thank you for the welcome. It seems like a really nice place with great people.

The other place discussed wasn't like this, even at the beginning. It looked right, it sounded right, but it never felt right to me. I don't know if anyone remembers the Stepford Wives novel, where a seeming utopia held dark secrets, but that's the vibe I got over there. This place has none of that vibe.

I like that it isn't huge. I far prefer quality over quantity, and a quiet discussion to a shouting match. The big sites have their value, but like you say, places like this feel far more like home.

I dont think I could've described the situation and differences any better. Getting in on the ground floor here is a real plus. Its growing fast, and still retaining the vibe. The community feel is so much tighter and there is not a single member I've had any communication with, that I wouldnt be thrilled to share a bowl with and just hang out.
Good folks, good laughs, good vibes,good info, good smoke.. that's what its all about

Glad to have ya! Pretty sure I know where you're talking about. I took a half decade hiatus from growing and upon startup this round, returned to a once good place.

The vibe had shifted entirely, all the people I enjoyed interacting with and learning from were gone, and it was like growing up again -- walking on eggshells and waiting for the ban hammer to drop because a name was mentioned or someone felt like their free platform that morphed into a marketing avenue for their seed bank was their only way of forcing what little power they have in this world onto other people.

This place is much better. High quality people writing high quality posts, building a hell of a knowledge base that reminds me of the original Overgrow in some ways.

Long story short, welcome aboard!
