So sorry to hear about your issues @spyralout i actually know the feeling somewhat. For appx. 5 years I had severe stomach issues and would lie in complete agony several times a day. Hospital likes to treat everyone like they are looking for opiates so I gave up on going there as it was always the same thing. My friend who’s a pediatric doc say and talked with me one night for hours and hours. When we were done he said I want you to try these “if there’s no change within 7-10 days come back we’ll figure this out, don’t worry “ sure enough that insane pain , pressure never came back and I had my first pain/anxiety free day in a long long while I took those for a year or two and then worked my way off of those and have never looked back. The pills were Nexium. Idk if our symptoms, issues are even close but it may be worth a shot. Again I’m sorry, but very glad you are back on the mend. Thoughts and prayers are with you my friend

Guys and Gals,

My sincerest apologies for my absence on the site. Landed in the hospital again. Only 6 days this time, 5 day coma. However this time I felt it coming on. I actually somehow set everything up, trimmed back the plants, had the neighbor accept packages for me, went to the PO Box to set up incoming and outgoing packages, grabbed a TV for Super Bowl Sunday at Costco (Costco has great warranties) two towns over (cuz it was on a great sale, and my old shitty ass TV had just broken (only 2 years old!) ), had a friend come and bail me out cuz he has a truck, and even took my son to go to his pad to pick oranges lol). Then I laid down on my bed, called 911, and palm over palm laid my hands on my belly as the paramedics entered my bedroom rushing to lift me onto the gurney. All I remember from that point was them hooking me up to IVs in the ambulance. On top of all that, my iphone broke in the hospital. Not even 2 years old, I had bought it out thinking I could save some money by owning the phone. Not even two years old, iPhone 12 Pro Max. Even bought a nice magsafe magnetic case, a magsafe magnetic car holder and a nice tempered glass screen protector.

Really not looking for a pity party here. I've just had such a shitty ass run of luck lately. So fkn tired of it.

What was the point of this rant?

Oh ya, FUCK YOU Apple ? you will never ever get a dime of my hard earned money ever again. No offense to anyone who likes their products, but you will never ever get another dime from me. I work hard for my money as do all of us and I expected much more from a "premium" device carrying a premium price tag.

Have a great weekend folks! ?
My opinion of Apple products, today at least, is just what you said, a premium price tag on a mediocre product that really suckered people in. For example, the "blue text" or whatever it is when its between 2 iphones vs. a different color text if you dont have an iphone. just gimmickey, cheap shit to get people to join up. I LOVE the samsung phone I replaced my iphone with. will never go back.

oh yeah glad you're doing better too i guess.

but man, apple. fuck those guys!

seriously though, thats pretty wild you were able to tell what was coming on and prepare for it. Can you describe what a coma is like at all?

Thanks for the insight and well wishes. Nexium turns off certain stomach pumps and has done more harm than good for me. Zantac doesn't work either. Apparently I'm much more complicated than these stomach pump inhibitors can handle.

Just caught up with what's what here. @spyralout dude, what can I say, sending all the healing vibes I can your way. Chronic health issues are a real fucker.

I'd second what @JollyPete said. Start off with a microbiome test, get your shit tested. Soil food web, water food web, microbiome we are all bacterial and fungal beings. My daughter has a complex genetic disease and getting her microbiome tested opened the best rabbit hole I could have gone down.

We are all about the ferments now, Goat Kefir has been my saving grace for my own gut issues. I swore off milk for so long and then someone's said try goat kefir and fuck me it changed my life. High dose Turmeric also warrants a mention.

Anyway, I don't want to get all preachy, everyone hates that shit. Hope you can find some answers brother.

Life! Strength! Health!

Damn, @spyralout. Sorry to hear about your health issues. I have had some gut issues in the past, but they weren't as severe as that. I was able to fix mine, but it took a long time. I had to learn what foods to avoid, and that was a huge help. When my gut was at it's worst, I would just go on a fast for a few days. I bought a crockpot for making bone broth, a juicer, and a water distiller. I never saw a doctor for my issues, except my initial ER visit when I had severe pain. I ended up losing a lot of weight. I went from about 190lbs to about 170lbs in about 3 months. I'm not someone who's overweight, so losing 20 lb was a big deal.

The issues started in 2017, and by 2019 I was about 80% better. I would have flair ups only when I ate something like ice cream.

In 2021, I started having severe indigestion issues. I aspirated stomach acid a few times in my sleep, and went to the ER because my esophagus hurt so much. I tried to get the doctors to give me a H.pylori test, but they didn't. They just wanted to prescribe me a pill. I said fuck that. So I decided to just act as if it was H.pylori, and I started using Manuka Honey and Mastic Gum. I also started taking vitamin D. It was Winter at the time, and I guarantee I was deficient. In addition, I started taking probiotics again.

I'm someone who takes my health into my own hands. I have a lot of distrust in the medical system. I dealt with several incompetent doctors when I was 10-11, and one actually stopped practicing in this area because of it. My parents wanted to sue him, but they did not have the means to do so. There are definitely great things that medicine has done, but when it comes to lifestyle related illnesses or sickness, they tend to treat symptoms, and not underlying causes.

If I were to recommend a list of things to incorporate into your diet, I'd recommend the following:

Bone broth - it's an easily absorbed source of protein, minerals, fats, and collagen (which can heal your gut)

Probiotics (something quality like Renew Life Colon Care)

Mastic Gum - it can kill H. Pylori, which oftentimes the cause of acid reflux. It's also good for your digestive system in general

Tumeric + black pepper + coconut oil - Tumeric is better absorbed with black pepper and with a good fat source. Coconut oil itself has healing properties (anti bacterial, anti fungal), and it is also easily converted into energy (medium chain triglyceride) by the liver.

Vitamin D (preferably from an animal source) I've seen where it's been linked to all sorts of health benefits in studies. I'm not sure about intestinal issues. I can say anecdotally that it helped mine though.

Whole Food Multivitamin (something like Naturelo brand) Most people are vitamin and mineral deficient in general, and a quality whole food vitamin supplement can really help.

If you can handle fermented foods, then things like sauerkraut, kefir, yogurt, etc can help. Good Belly is a good probiotic drink that I used to buy. It's got a particular strain of Lactobacillus that apparently has been shown to help with IBS. But it's only got that one strain, so you'd want to take other probiotics to help diversify your gut flora.

Lastly, I'd recommend praying. What I mean by that is for you to imagine yourself healthy. How would it feel? It's not easy to do when you feel like shit, I know. But if look at the the work of people like Joe Dispenza, or Bruce Lipton, they've shown that the subconscious mind cannot differentiate between what is experienced, and what is imagined. The same parts of the brain light up for either one when they do scans. Emotions cause chemical changes (not the other way around as we have been told). We literally train our bodies what chemicals to produce by the emotional states we are in. After a while, your body just does it, because it's what it's used to doing. The chemicals of happiness, love, gratitude, security, etc.. all are healing to the body. Even if you don't feel the best, try to make the best of your day.

The same life force that built you from a single cell into a baby, and then grew you into an adult is always at work in you. It's the life force, chi, or whatever people want to call it.

Yes. In great detail. I've been to the other side 3x now and lemme tell ya it ain't pretty. So first off, the grim reaper looks and feels nothing like what we portray him or them as, the hooded sickle rod thing. Ever seen the movie Ghost w Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore, where those spooky ass evil demons carry off the bad guy to whatever realm it was? Very similar to that. I can go into much more depth but that'll be for another time. Let's just say that whatever that force is...is VERY FKN STRONG. And it's infiltrated our tiny microcosm as human beings on this Earth, continuing to recruit. It is one of the driving factors of me trying to bring ppl together to train ourselves for when we do enter whatever that realm is to fight these fuckers. I'm toeing the religion line here so I'll stop. Please if I have offended anyone LMK so I can append this post properly.

Thank you for the insight. I do many of these things you've listed. My Mom has a very diverse organic garden and she has heirloom Turmeric. I will consider upping my dose on this. And also bone broth - many variations, the best for me being Pho. I'll even eat it in 110* weather. Every girl I've ever been with, when on their monthlys, would send me to get pho. I said you sure you don't want chicken soup? NO I WANT PHO NOW. OK OK lol I'll bring youa Toblerone too

Got it unlocked yesterday. Thanks for the offer mang. Lost all my pics n contacts. Painstaking process of manual re entry of contacts. Looked up on how to do it from an old android to iphone but ehh I've added many already so I'll just add more as I go. Gotta take breaks in between to do other stuffs.

Hmmm, and here I thought an apple would keep the doctors away…
Glad you’re on the mend again though!.. And I too should apologize, I have been crazy busy here on the farm and time hasn’t been very friendly on my end either.

They put me on a drug called Tecta for my gut issues, worked for a bit, but I stopped taking them as I’m horrible for remembering to take pills,

As for phones, I’ve never owned a iPhone, but the Motorola I have is three years overdue for an upgrade but still works just fine..
Lots of people love their Samsungs, but thy need to be replaced every so often..
I like my Moto Z still to the day..

Get well brother, our thoughts are with ya!
