Touchdown ! Need to stock up a bit on meds and then I'm doing heri open pollination- herijuana's been on my hit list since I first heard about it. Thanks for the opportunity, looking forward to having fun working with these and will be back with hella more seeds.

UPDATE 08/29

Life got busy & I didn't take many pics for my journal.
However - the seed run was (sort of) successful! I ran the girls until they began to die naturally - 12 weeks IIRC
I have a pretty low count (about 500 estimated) and A LOT of duds - pretty disappointed about that.
BUT --- 8 of 11 test seeds germinated after 48 hours and are in soil. (the others are still on the plate)

They look a lot like the seeds I received - normal sized, but pale tan/green and no markings.

@MO_Grow those are gorgeous! Great job.
Herijuana has some really rock hard buds and a very unusual nose. I have never seen your colors in Herijuana. Mine will come down in a few days and this will be my first time smoking unseeded buds. If I recall, I got almost an ounce of seeds and a few grams of smokeable flower.
It will be interesting to see how well she rosin presses too.

Thank you! Ya, these nugs are super tight and feel very heavy. The nose is also difficult for me to describe, but smells dank whatever it is, lol! She was a really cool and fun plant to grow. Most my stuff usually stays more on the greener side of things up til harvest. Even a sibling right next to her at the same age. So, I wasn't planning our expecting those colors either. But very glad they showed!

Hearing your response, I'm kinda thinking I found a purple unicorn so to speak with that one...ahhh, another one that got away? My original plan was to do a seed increase for further preservation and exploration. Still have a super strong male off in the sidelines that was gonna do the deed.

However, when I was getting ready to put him in flower so I could start collecting/pollinating I checked over the girls to see which one I wanted to use or if I wanted to use all (2-3 ladies) OP style. What I found were some receding pistils that appeared like they caught a little bit of stray pollen. So, me wanting to keep these preservation genetics as pure as humanly possible I decided against it.

So, he has not been flowered and collected from yet...and, sadly, even though this lady shows a few seeds being developed, she bares no legitimate offspring. But I will revisit these and do an increase on my next go with them ?

She's coming down probly tonight or the next...I haven't had much luck revegging plants that are so tall that I've stripped so hard in the past, recent post anyway (she's got long legs, all tops, with nothing down low). Maybe if it were summer time and I didn't have to worry about such low temps and inconsistent humidity messing with my success and growth rates. But I don't have time for wasted efforts. I got beans to pop and plants to grow!

I also need to get more organized and efficient with my setup and efforts... Neverending battle for me, lol. So, I'm due for a brief reset and deep cleaning after I harvest this round. Which will be drawn out to 1-2 plants a week over the next 5-6 weeks. Then I'll be ready to kill some shit! Can't wait to see what kinda plants we all find this year!!

PS
I was trying to figure out why this girl was the only one of the bunch to turn these colors. Especially hearing that you've never seen them in these genes. Then I saw idle and Frim discussing the wind sensitivity of a cut they both have. And all this got the gears grinding and I think I figured it out! The corner this girl resides in, the fan is a little lower than simply below the canopy. She is up on boosters so the fan is below the pot and is facing/ blowing directly at the pot and root ball. I guess I didn't readjust the angle of the fan after last time I took them all out for inspection and rearranging 2-3 weeks ago.

So, besides the all around low temps we're getting here (highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s), she's had constant wind up her skirt! Whoops!! I'm not sorry though cause although I'm sure it probably cut into my yields, it helped produce such a stunning young lady! No ragrets, n'am sayin'!!
