Hi everybody

Got turned on to this site by a friend (Srenots) from a couple other forums.

Started in 2017 with a small 6 plant outdoor medical garden. Done a few little side projects (some successful, some not, but failure is an excellent teacher), winter outdoor tent grow, mini-hoophouse, aeroponic clones, and breeding I didn't get to complete last year due to some crazy family BS.

This is my first season trying my hand at running a small greenhouse commercial op and will probably also build a small dep-house for breeding.

If this 1st dep run goes well we'll be looking into small commercial trimming and processing equipment. I love doing this by hand but there reaches a point where it's no longer feasible when there's only a few people to do the work. Might pick up a new portable washer for making icewater hash this year.

The knowledge of the growers/breeders on the other forums have been integral in my success. I couldn't have done it without them. Looking forward to learning so much more and hopefully can impart a portion of that wisdom to struggling beginners. It was so overwhelming trying to learn what I needed that 1st year and then overcoming pest/fungus/nutrient problems in the last couple. I hope I've finally reached a point where everything runs smooth, YEAH RIGHT, hahaha!!!

Looking forward to interacting with y'all. Thanks for the invite Srenots.

Damn, nice photos dude. Welcome to the board. :stoned: A lot of cool people here, a lot of information being shared. Be sure and check out @Schwaggy P random stuff, some of the best info you can come across, though it looks like you have more than a solid handle on things. ?

Thanks man. Pretty sure I recognise @Schwaggy P from another forum.

This is only my 4th year. I've got so much more to learn just to consider myself competent. I am always down to learn something new or get correction on things I "thought" I knew. I'm surrounded by these multi generational guru growers and it keeps me humble. Not to mention the hydro growers and living soil builders on the forums who constantly blow my mind with their technical knowledge.

Great to wake up and see you brother. It's been awhile. I hope all is well and I look forward to what you have in store.
Smith your ears musta been burning. Several call outs from folks (me included) asking where you've been. Glad to see you've found your way over and happy to see that you're still full steam ahead.

Great to see you here brother. Missed ya

Waz up my homies? Yeah, it's nice to be back, er, well, uh, here now. My health (especially mental) drastically improved this last year after I kicked loose this med I was reacting to. Just needed a break to heal. Two years with no sleep really f^cks with a person's head ...and everything else. Now I'm eating super healthy, getting great sleep, and working out in VR every day. Beat Saber is the bomb for physical therapy.

This is gonna be an excellent year. Got a lot of projects planned and an early summer dep harvest is gonna fund em real nice. I told Srenots already that I brought this kid on board who's a generational with mad connects, especially genetics. He's also an art school major so we're planning on putting out some YouTube vids eventually. Maybe we'll get invited onto Hash Church one day if Bubble Man ever gets his channel back from the highjackers. I want to get serious with the breeding this year and I'm planning a dep-house 4-6x as big as my experimental last year and fully enclosed in opaque plastic so I don't pollenate my neighborhood (then maybe I can pay back Plylex for that bomb-a$$ Jack Herer and 9lb I have yet to run). We also may borrow the drying shed for clones before the 1st harvest comes in (a lot of people are asking). The kid says he may have a line on some Purple Punch for our dep. That'd be pretty sweet.

How do you do:geek:

Very well, thank you.

Seems the "goon squad" is already familiar with ya haha
Welcome to pH @SmithsJunk
:passjbuds:

Yup, thems my boyz. Thank you.

All of it sounds awesome @SmithsJunk and is great to hear. There's nothing at all that needs to be paid back either my friend. It sounds like Summer is going to be lush.

I knew that brother, mostly just wanted to give you mad props for some sweet genetics. Everyone loves that Jack Herer. The locals here know Herer for being very peppery but my girl was sweet and fruity with a sublime buzz, and she was a beast at 12'-14' and fully loaded. The two Banana Crack phenos, the original Belgian waffle (2018) and my Fruit Loops (2019), have both been well received with a lot of requests for clones and beans. Thinkin I'll be dusting with it this year. I still have unmixed silver nitrate and sodium thiosulfate plus a surfactant from last year, so I'm ready to make those fems.

Awesome to hear your doing good and thing are looking hopeful for some future adventures. Can’t wait for this years outdoor 12 foot mongrels

Thanks brother. All my girls will be greenhouse this year but that shouldn't limit their sise much. Moving the 6 200gal pots in there too but they'll be starting in June instead of May. This'll be the 1st year early fall storms won't be able to flatten my garden and rain won't exacerbate a bot-rot epidemic. Will also be doing regular pyrethrin applications to fight the spider mites, broad mites, and cannabis aphids, starting with a couple Dr Doom foggers on the 12th, a day before the clones go in for the 1st run. As soon as the materials get here on the 12th I'm wiring lights to extend daylight till the flip and doing a ScrOG for the intial dep run. Been busy AF the last few weeks.

Wow, what a nice grow, good job. You wouldn't happen to know doublejj? Welcome

Thank you mucho. I don't think I know doublejj unless he/she was using a different handle.

Good to see you too man. You still doin that mad scientist water cooled lighting in your basement or have you decided to finally surface and join us sun eaters?

Yup, yup. Will be doin a grow log here since y'all decided to adopt this as your new home. It'll be noice to start something fresh and uncluttered.

see, always late....for future reference send me new links, always playing catch up lol....Good to see you Junk~ whats poppin this summer?

Chu know all da chit aready man.

Pretty sure you knew most of what I've got goin on before anyone else. Lookin forward to using your genetics again. That Kashmir99 cured into some sweet sweet fire. I hope you still have it. I got stalled off a day or two by a couple different people tonight, but you know... that's how this industry is. It'll probably take a generation with no experience of the old ways to shed that flakey BS attitude.

I'll send you a link when I start the grow journal. Wasn't expecting this thread to be more than a simple introduction. My cousin and other partner are supposed to be picking up clones on the 12th and we'll have them in on the 13th. I'll get a few more shots of the greenhouse prep and then I'll start posting the 1st day after planting. I need to get my cameras out, cleaned, and charged. My phone works fine but it still doesnt compare to a good DSLR. Super jazzed I got that set of macro rings for the Sony a5000 last year, but not before harvest. It'll be cool to get some trich shots with it this season.
