Oh wow! I had a strain years ago that smelled like oranges and the dude said it was Orange Kush but I didn't know if it was a real strain lol.

Rockstar is my go to for my night time smoke, but that Orange kush is a nice buzz andmakes some sweet hash! ( tons of trichomes) and the oil… ohhhh my!
People say you loose all the terps making oil with 99% ISO (solvents and all that) but cook it low and slow, and you just might be surprised.(I was,)
(going to run butane next to see the diff that makes)

My avatar pic is actually Orange Kush, she’s real.
And though she is orange, I find her more earthy / mild spice until she’s properly cured, then she exhibits her citrus flavours more profoundly.
She’s a month in the jar that one, but rewards the wait?

That was legit my first time smelling an orange forward strain. I kind of wondered if that was actually a strain or just someone smelling the orange scent and adding Kush to the name lol. I do have Sin City Juice now and that one had that nice orange Juice smell already
Some strains really shine once you give them a good proper cure.

There are mild earthy tones and spice, that you notice first On the palate Then she tastes like an old orange, but more so on the exhale.
You smell orange peels when you crack the jar (sometimes almost overwhelmingly so)
But you definitely taste and smell the kush too.

That sounds nice! If you enjoy the strains that have that really Orange forward nose like that, I HAVE to recommend you check out Sin City Juice from 313 Seeds! I have a female outside right now, and since she was a seedling, it's been a mix of straight Oranges, and even Orange Juice (A sour note that came through on one of the two plants) and though I haven't had a chance to try her out yet, the smell alone is just wonderful!

Yeah the Sin City Juice is so far wonderful; I'm usually not that into strains that are sweet, but there are a few that are sweet that I totally love; Orange Kush was one because Orange forward smells are nice in my opinion, and I do enjoy a nice Blueberry smell too so it seems to just depend on which strain it is, and how the terpenes play out. I'm interested to see how it's going to go after it's been cured as that usually brings out some of the "other parts" and really brings out the scent nicely
