Blackberry Bread (my #3) stretched X 2 and finished at 68 days giving me over 5oz dry (1 1/2 half gallon jars). Stoned me didn't even get some pics of the finished plant; before I excitedly cut her and hung her to dry. No fade even with 2 weeks of water only. But was basically done pushing out new pistils for a week. Has this tuna sandwich/ginger savory flavor. Strangely tasty. And ony been in the jars since Christmas eve.

Hi there! I have been lurking here for a while. It seems a nice little community here with a lot of knowledge and character.

I love cannabis. Mostly I enjoy the growing and smoking. I would grow even if I couldn't smoke and have. I like to dab some rosin from time to time too, but I really prefer flower.

I grow indoors these days in a 5'X7' room with a combination of t5 for babies, mh to veg and led or mh/hps for flower.

I have been doing this for a number of years. I started getting serious about 14 years ago. My dad and step mom were both battling cancer. And I was their med grower.

My dad and I seperately tested beans for Mandala back then. It was a fun diversion for him and I... but he passed on. Nevertheless I had fallen in love with the plant by then.

I have had outdoor legal and guerilla grows in the past as well as a bit bigger than now, indoor fiasco.

But for now it's a single simple room for flower. I hope to clear a space this year for a 3' X 5' tent also so I can isolate some males and etc. I miss chucking.

I just got done running a couple female Blackberry Bread by Freak. Very impressed. And time for a new run: Got Cherry Kool-Aid wet earlier and some others.

I get so excited when I pop new beans. Like a kid.
I like the smoking part too. Lol

I love so many varieties from old school to new. Kinda on a Cheese and sweet or sour or OG kick now but I like most good weed.

I like old Indicas like affy or paki. But skunks and OGs and some new stuff are up near the top.

Hey man, no harm joke away. I enjoy when people post funny stuff. Like psychobilly's cheese insanity. ❤️ it.

Sorry about your Dad, that sucks man.

Welcome!

LOL glad you get a kick out of my personality :) Cheese, Sweet Sour and OG is a lovely combination! I got some Cheeselicious recently which is Cheese X OG Kush that I'm excited about, and I've also seen someone mention on my Cheese thread a Sour Diesel X Cheese cross which also might interest you. Those oldschool Indica strains are pretty nice, and seem to be a point of origin for some of the "funk" I love so much :)

Thanks for the kindness dude. Has been about 11 yrs. since my dad passed. But loss can be hard for some, even years later. Such is life.

That Cheeselicious sounds like it might be excellent. I had looked it up. :) I hope you get an awesome pheno of her next season.

Some of those stumpy Indicas are slap you in the face potent. Kind of herb that gets you wanting to be horizontal. And outside some turn to broad Leaf monsters in size.

But what grows great OD in my climate might not be as good in yours.

I know what you mean with those Indica ones; I had a single Tashkurgan plant this passed season and, sadly it turned out to be a Male, and bro.... That one went out late and just went nuts as soon as it started vegging. I was blown away.

A cross of that I ran also was a monster! Sadly it was a Male too, but it was Tashkurgan Heirloom X Chocolate Cheese (Cheesing) and I had to stand on a ladder to get up there high enough to pull the top down and sex it, and when I saw the pollen sacs I was kinda sad; Not just because it was such a good grower, but because I then had to use those limb clippers you use on tree branches to get through the stalk, and I had to cut him into three pieces to make it fit through the garden without knocking something else over LOL. Probably would have been the single largest plant I'd ever grown had it been female, but man it was big!

Michigan seems to be really well suited to Chemdogs and Cheeses which I'm VERY Grateful for; My favorite genetics of all time and they love it cooler in my experience, which is great :) The middle of Summer when it's like 85 or 90 degrees you can see those ones get really unhappy and they need extra water and so on, but then, when it starts to cool off and the temps are like 68 degrees, and in the 40s at night, they just thrive and look happy all day in that. They don't mind having snow knocked off them either which is nice LOL.

I've only had a few that really don't like the climate; A strain that I think was locally bred (Can't find any real info about it) called Hawaiian Sunshine, I ran that outdoor last year, and though it was really good and did well at first, it simply hated the cold when it got late season, and that one was TOTALLY leaning Sativa and took so long to finish.... I lost a lot of that one just from the weather, and I know now, that one isn't a great choice for outdoor here.

Just found this- not much grow info

Hawaiian Sunrise is a sativa dominant hybrid strain with unknown parentage due to a general lack of information about its heritage. It is said to be a native to the Hawaiian islands that was acquired by Colorado Seeds Inc. in 2009, but not much is known about it before that. Despite this lack of knowledge, Hawaiian Sunrise has quickly become a breeder favorite, birthing many of your favorite tropical strains and infusing it with authentic island flavor. That being said, Hawaiian Sunrise has a sweet yet spicy tropical fruit flavor with a tangy citrus exhale that can be peppery at times. The smell is of sweet tropical earth with a spicy herbal citrus effect that's released as the nugs are burned. The Hawaiian Sunrise high is perfect for getting you going early in the morning when you have zero energy to spare. The high is uplifting and energetic with a general sense of relaxation that fills both mind and body. You'll feel incredibly sociable in this state, easily talking to anyone around you in a focused and open manner. You may feel tingly at times in your legs and lower back, but that's just the magic doing its work. Thanks to these effects and its high 15-25% average THC level, Hawaiian Sunrise is often chosen to treat users suffering from conditions such as chronic fatigue, pain, depression, inflammation, and chronic stress. This bud has small grape-shaped light minty green nugs with lots of long thin hairs and a thick frosty coating of tiny amber colored crystal trichomes.

Bro that's a really accurate description of smell and flavor! She was sticky as a lawyer's fingers, and smelled really fruity, yet had a distinct peppery thing going on, and then, with all that was a weird Mushroom / Wet Soil smell I kept picking up on.

It was great weed, but she just took way too long for my climate. I grew her "sideways" in a Greenhouse, and used fiberglass sticks to keep the top pulled down, and she was even planted at an angle.

All the branches that faced the soil were cut off, and she grew across one side of the Greenhouse, and her side branches hit the 8 foot top of it which was cool. She was a single bagseed from an ounce from another grower.

Thank you for that info!
