Jewels gotta get back in the salad saddle before he forgets bout how to be growing weed.

Got no concrete plans whatsoever.
Perhaps offsite or guerrilla.
Big indoor show is a no-go
; maybe 400 HPS , no more.
Too hot and to pricey for a pleasure cruise, meaning, I got enough stashed to get by for a later start.
My consumption must be down, as I seem to still have buckets from my Feb harvest.
Still,,,
Running out aint really an option either.
I figure if I'm going to keep smoking it I must keep growing it.

These are the seeds I made last summer.
Toast- Genesis
((Auto GirlSCookie x Auto GGlue) x photo JackTRipper
20210822_135552_HDR.jpg They were solid when I grew them ; so I assume I have made F5 beans, at the least.

No action yet.

"hybrid from the cross between our Red Poison Auto® (SWS39) and a photoperiod-dependent elite clone of Tangie (California Orange x Skunk hybrid) from a rare and unusual purple-flowered phenotype, with a sensational intense mandarine taste and aroma."

This , I have grown before.
F1 cross of an auto.
I only had one stale bean left, although; if it takes I can fold it into the Tangie Matic to start into some purple autos.

3x Project 25
1x Red Mandarine

Humble beginnings.

Game on !
Keeping within genre, I popped these outside.
JonnyAppleseed, dry seed to wet dirt.
We are still seeing 8C / 46F overnight. Took a spell, we gett'n there. Beforehand, I didn't actually know if I had made viable seed.
Having never made auto beans before, it was a momentous occasion.
I feel I have won already.

First up.
Tangiematic x Genesis.

I found a photo of that sweet red Mandarin. It was Gigantor and beautifully coloured.

More up today. Seems to be taking forever , that has to be the worst part of a start up.
112 more frost free days.
Yay !

It is all I need.

Cold and rain'ish.
It is like sitting around watching the paint not dry.

Panic towel popped jic duplicates.
Tangie x Gen- 6/8
Genesis x Genesis - 4/9
Project 25- 0/2.

Still dont know if I will get any Project 25's up. The three in the dirt havent shown , yet.
A Genesis did burst from the earth today, so I haven't written them off completely.
That, in itself, is disappointing; however
I did manage to get this stale stinker up.
She is ugly, but she will go. 20220614_092720_HDR.jpg

I filled in the empty plots with the paper towel germination.
20220614_092711.jpg I brought them into the garage. Realistically, I should have started them here, under the artificial light.
I was indulging in some sort of Harrowsmith moment.
I'm over it now.?

Congrats on the autoflower progress!
Just out of curiosity,I pulled up that daylight chart for my neighborhood. Looks like you're getting an additional 2hrs of daylight in peak summer!

where does the love of god go
when the waves turn minutes to hours

Replacement therapy
I soaked these seeds only a couple of days after my wife was admitted to the hospital.

the smoke
she was a rising

Important that we mark the milestone as a family;
I whipped up a cake and we celebrated our son's first birthday together, one day early.

Certified
52 days before the mast
no visitors
-
we finished up the school year
we learned how to walk
we fed animals
we swam the river
we tied ourselves to the Earth

everything is temporary everything is liquid everything is as you see it

The plan was to pump up these autos and then set them in the sun. In reality they never made it out of thumb pots for a month.
My heart wasn't in it.
There is not enough hours of direct sunlight in my backyard and I was feeling too stingy to flip on a light.
Soooo, another auto duff.

My passive bags proved worthy. The bottom quarter is hydroton, with a very sandy mix on top of that.
20220812_115207_HDR.jpg

They all sat in a common tray. 20220812_115316_HDR.jpg

I have used these bags indoors and they worked well enough. I was there to water them everyday, however, with few inches in the pan I could potentially leave them for long periods.

Good shade under the tree with periodic bursts of direct sunlight.

The males were late, I don't think I will get enough seed back to break even.

Finally got some cool nights !
There is no sun in my backyard. I have pretty much given up with growing Outdoors.

So if you're ever in space, you can look down and see my house. The white dot, in the photo , is my backyard . I know exactly the date this photo was taken. I can see the zoom boom positioned to the back of my house. There are new shingles; so I know this is the day my son finished our roof.

So how big is that Elm tree? We needed both driveways for equipment, so I had to shuffle all of the vehicles into my backyard and the neighbors backyard.
The measurement dots are the East West diameter of the tree .
In this photo, North of the two dots, I have parked:
- Ford Thunderbird SC
- Mercury Park Lane
- GMC Envoy
- Mazda XL utility trailer
-17 ft Scamping trailer
Three of those vehicles are white, and I can't see any of them.
,,, They gone !

Couple of days ago
Dead calm, dead heat, dead of night; that Elm tree dropped a branch into the neighbor's yard. The tree is planted on our common property line and that Branch fell across his 40 ft lot , and 8 ft into his neighbor's lot. I have done the math a couple of times, and I think that tree has a 70 ft diameter.
Anywho, I am sitting out in the garage it is 33 Celsius at 1:00 a.m.. I could hear crackling in the tree, and I figured if I got out there with a flashlight I could see some raccoon action.
I am a few steps out of the garage and that monster starts popping off.
The moment that I realized what was happening was the same instant that I realized I was dead. I bolted back to the garage so quick I ended up tearing my thigh. It's been a few days and I'm still kinda limping around.

Good times.

Like I said, I gave up on outdoor growing. I knew there was a bit of heat still left in the summer but my seedlings were stressing and stretching it was do or die time. I plugged in the 400 watt metal halide and I have been running that 24/7. I peak up to 34 Celsius sometimes, but at least they are starting to put on leaves.

First of all, I hope both your wife and your leg are ok! I feel ya with that heat, been hiding in the basement lots myself for a bit of cooler air ( more oxygenated as well with all the greenery!) and much safer from falling tree limbs!..lol
I only threw one plant outside this year, an Agent Orange that still isn’t showing sex to the day, (from seed, was planted with a 3/4” root”..) That was in April!!! Outside end of June
Guess I’ll have to bring it in now because as warm as our days are, the nights are starting to bring some chill, and it can’t catch up to the 12 weeks it needs to bloom out there now anyway.. so I know exactly how ya feel about outdoor growing.. some years are GOOD, some are SHIT. but now and again, we get a bumper crop of GOOD SHIT!…lol
Hope your having a great day man! ( kick that leg up and smoke some ganja!)
