More fun stuff from my buddy down on the panhandle.... Custom dab tools... These are clearly not for everybody... But I do love me some cool shit like this... This is my same friend with the cone shaker I posted yesterday... Whenever he gets some extra time between projects in his shop... He likes to tinker... The best part, is I get to bounce ideas off him for stuff that would work best... These tools are all made out of the highest quality metals... The amount of passion this guy has for his trade is admirable... Real quality stuff.. feel free to follow him in IG... he does all kinds of cool full sized knives and shit... Him and I have been going back and forth on some cool idea... He is working on a "Master Sword" from the Legend of Zelda... for any video game nerds... Im gonna have it sit in a stone base and everything.... Should be fun... Feel free to share any ideas of what YOU would like to have in your collection... or any of your unique dabbers... just remember to try and keep it simple because the CNC has some limits...

Sounds like a press is needed :) LOLz
WAYYY ahead of you there... I sent him this already... see what he can improve on... When I was looking for a cheap press, I came across this... I am sure he can improve the design... I did get a chance to go back and forth with the guy here on etsy... really nice... gonna invite him here also... but his design only heats one plate at a time... and there is lots of room to improve display and thermometer imo....

Unless I am missing it..I see no temperature controller in the picture? (PID)
Edit: there seems to be no PID, but it looks like a simple rheostat is used instead..just a guess. That will affect the accuracy and the ability to maintain temperature over a short time..

For @NtoDesignsINC .

I thought I would post some observations after some use of this tool. This is awesome looking everyone that see's it thinks its sweet.

First, The grind on the right side of the tip.
This works very well for getting content.
Feedback: The grind on the right side works better when using the tool from the left hand. Left side for right hander's.

Materials
This is a great loader tool hands down! The stainless steel at high temps(800+F) have the possibility of off-gassing chromium though. But for dabs at 500 "should be ok", but I just use it as a loader, so for my purpose its awesome. Premium tools made of titanium a possibility?

I've tested loading: Rosin, Resin, Hash, Crumble, Disty.

Challenge
Had to balance some of the materials on the tip (crumble was a little dry and a pain, went back to my old scoop lol, Id think about a version that has a concave configuration for scooping. Being a sword handler, whom practices tameshigiri, there is a opportunity with the tsuka (handle) maybe, though its probably harder at this small scale. Some katana have a container in the tsuka (cap pops off contain metsubishi...or a removable scoop in this case??)

Overall
I love it, and so does a lot of people! Stylin' work! A+

Craftsmanship - A+

Usability - A- (need to keep it out of high temps, and I am right handed)

Opportunities in this space - Scoops are needed for different types of concentrates :)

Overall I feel bad assery using this to load up
