Day 8: I love the way the Garlic Mints are becoming of full, plump fan leaves and I'll mention every seed I used so far were pale with no stripes to begin with. I planted a couple of late poppers around the apparently failed copper chem seedling but I already had them mixed up with one another in the paper towel so I wont be able to tell if it's another Copper Chem or a 91 Gorillas that pops out.

Yeah I actually have it at 3' even now seeing as I'm allowed that kind of freedom from what I here lol. I was so frightened when I had a power outage because I thought the light wouldn't turn back on. It's actually a 10 min. cooldown timer. I was so happy to find that out.

Sadly, I don't think the three 91 gorillas will sprout What makes sense is that all 3 of the garlic Mints sprouted because their the freshest. But to my amazement, I found a feminized seed called Italian Cookies in the collection littledabbie gave me. I set it in germ yesterday.

I got one to pop just by keeping it wet and we may see it come up next to the copper chem so I wont rule them out just yet

Day 11: I am impressed and thus satisfied with this rate of growth. Cheap leds are such a myth in my mind now plus this actually works better for veg than CFL bulbs ever had and that's saying something.
It's a Phillip's 4200K full spectrum just to recap.

Day 14: Wasting no time, I want the the roots to fully conform to these beautiful 5 gallon carbon fabric pots. I didn't have enough of the Happy Frog soil so I went with a cheap filler for a 2 to 1 mix. Not the brand name I had in mind but from my rough memory of cannabis friendly ingredients, I found this a viable, all natural alternative. Easy peasy.
The light being 3ft. height currently, I still have 6 inches of raising room. Should be plenty.

Day 21: I bravely topped them three days ago considering the earlier I do it, the thicker and closer to the trunks the main shoots will be. So far they seem strong, vibrant, and good ole soil grown. I can't complain. There's a deformed fan leaf with 10(or 9) blades on one of the garlic Mints. To clarify, the one plant that is not G.M. is a feminized Italian Cookies (3rd from the left). The tiny one I'm not counting is a Copper Chem.

Day 28: For a while, I thought I'd been smelling an unaccounted for gas leak but it's the smell of all the garlic mints. Names a dead giveaway lol. The italian cookies was the slowest growing plant out the gate and now it's the hardest to tame. I haven't seen a pistil yet but I think I might end up with 3 fems(1 more than I bargained for).

Day 32: Got me yet another vivosun tin can fan for the cheapest price on the market, removed the most prominent garlic mints due to "claws", and severed the main stem of the italian cookies by accident. Had to cut it clean. I find I'm more careful with my plants by thinking of the stems as hollow straws duh doy. Regardless of my fuck up(which was actually a few days ago)the plant still looks to be in stellar condition. I wanted to snap this before pic before they all recover.

Day 35: Last day for vegging. I'll take some black silicone along the top and wherever sides of the tent to cover any leaks my cats made and I bought 6in. duct tubes to trap light let in by the fans. I'm confident about the Italian Cookies(middle plant) being a female but I honestly don't know about the remaining GMs. Well then, let's get on with the show.

FLOWER DAY 11: mas stretching and they've all grown pistils. Hey I wanted to ask y'all what can be done about such a crowded grow environment and please don't tell me I need to remove a plant. Before their 14 day stretch is complete, I'll remove any unhealthy leaves from the underside of the canopy but for trimming leaves to thin out the canopy, I don't know how to attack this thing. If there's any advice you might give me, I'll take it and run.
