This will be my first attempt at reversing a plant using this @HydroRed STS tester kit.... 20210509_180300.jpg

Our test subject is my Hippy Slayer 33 cut shown here... 20210509_175516.jpg

She'll be flowered alone in my 32x32x60 tent under a single HLG65. She's in a 7"x7" square pot and growing in Roots Organics 707 mix.

I made the mix using 120ml of distilled water along with the two part tester kit supplied (and I followed instructions so they went in in the right order!). First spray was today, 5/9 at 6pm with the lights off. Currently under 20/4 light cycle. Will flip to 12/12 and do a second spray in 5 days, so 5/14.

Once this trial is complete I'll be attempting a second reversal also using the HS33 but using an STS kit I purchased from Wicked Pharms on Etsy to compare results.

If all goes well, I'm gonna have a lot of HS33 S1s to share in a few months!

Yeah buddy! I'm subbed and looking forward to the visuals and more. Love Bodhi's cut that's floating around and have her locked in a project here and there's something about that old Skunk in it that I can't put my nose on lol
It's so unique! It's funny, a lot of the longer tenured members here will remember that I started hunting for her essentially cause the name made me laugh and it supposedly had real RKS in its roots... and I wound up with this breeders cut completely by dumb luck. It was virtually the only Hippy Slayer I could find outside of a couple crosses. Grew her out and was blown away. Instantly a top 5 strain for me. And that's why she's my first reversal candidate. If this works out she'll find her way into a few crosses as well

Right on ! Limos of Ninefold (founder of Great Lakes Genetics) gifted me packs of his Resist mix made with the cut, and some of Seedpacs gear he worked and selected. I pulled one female with vigor like the GMO and ran her for a year before folding her into my Fire God calling it Fire Resistant!

She got her next spritz down yesterday, forgot to grab a pic but no sign of reversal yet. If anyone has any insight on when you usually see the plant start producing sacs that would be great!
You will likely see changes around the 3rd or 4th application so you still got a bit to go before you start seeing any signs of reversal. Where the flowers usually form will still develop but the white hairs wont be present. Might have a couple here n there, but for the most part there wont be many at all. If your plant seems to be taking too long to reverse after a couple weeks+ post flip, you can always increase how frequently you spray from 5 days to 3 or 4 (granted the plant handles it well enough to not get burned etc). Some plants are just a little easier than others to reverse. Im on application #3 and just started to see signs the day before that application.
