Is any running these, if so what do you find works best with them?

How close are you running them, what size area? And etc..

Thanks
I have a couple but only ran them for a month or so before I had to take a break. Gonna get them running again here in next week or so.

I found plant want it warm in the area, 75-82f and lights at a least 12 inches or higher till they're adjusted to them. Then you can get a little closer if you like.

Ambient temps need to be warmer to get best bang out of led. Then you might want to supplement extra cal/mag.

as a suggestion 100% ( no offense , just a tip) If it was me and that budget viewpoints and wanting a good & reliable light I would of bought a eco 500 and have it refurbished at $499 and that gives ya 480 watts and fully assembled and 1 year warranty

I bought 2 hlg 260 kits for about $550, basically the same as this but brand new. Grant that was precovid and now those same kits are sold out pretty much everywhere. I bought the 2 hlg 65 for veg lights. Thought they were the 96 as mentioned earlier but just checked them and they're 65s.

I have a bunch of 96 Elites. I dont run them exclusively in any area, mostly staggered between 315W CMH units.
For the price the 96 Elite engine with the splayed heatsink, the diode quality, spectrum mix, and output capability, in my opinion, it's really hard to find a better value.
I drive each of mine solo, with the XLG-200-H-AB.

I'm running 4 of these driven by Inventronix 600, with a customized frame spreading them in a 4x3 square as an additional source of light added to the bleed off from a bank of 550's. Been meaning to add one more set to my frame even though I don't really need it.

I've ran these at 18" from the canopy all the way to just a few inches. They run surprisingly cooler then I expected even though they can easily burn a plant if it's hot and they're too close for comfort..
