A friend had bought 2 of the vipar spectra blurple lights from amazon thinking they would produce as advertised lol any way they were replaced with spider farmers I have access to the other one too but this was a budget build I used the housing fans wiring & heatsinks . The drivers (hlg240 h-b I got on e-bay for $25 each the luminus cobs can handle over 100w. each are 3500k. & 80 cri @ $13.50 each from cob kits way cheaper than vero 29 or cree 50v. cobs the housing & heatsinks are large enough to add another driver & additional cobs such the citizen if needed this run will tell the story I'm at 30w. per sq ft. I would be more comfortable with 35 a lot depends on how well the luminus cobs perform you tube videos claim them to be more efficient than cree, citizen & vero but it's one thing to measure all this technical crap with meters & such it's quite another to actually generate bud with it we will see lolLooks great ! under the dome about every 3 days in open air more often what I do on about day#2 since my last watering or feeding later on I'll pick a few of them up if too dry you can feel it I have a large syringe with a piece of hose on the end so I can hydrate the cubes right there in the tray I usually have a high success rate I'll keep updating their progresshow often do you fertigate rockwool at the seedling/rooting stage?
maybe a few drops on each cube if you're not using a heat mat they will hold moisture longer I use the r/w cubes for seedlings tooreason i ask is my cubes have been in the dome for about 5-6 days. they feel like they've lost some of the initial weight, but not too much. Don't want to damage the seedlings, so trying to figure out when is appropriate to fertigate. do you think now would be fine? this is a seed run, and my first time germinating in rockwool, so not wanting to do harm
The gizmo I use came on a cajun injectable marinade I just fit a length of dripper hose on it just allows you to water the seedlings or cuttings when they're at that fragile stage & you're not wanting to handle them hydro stores usually have the syringe tooreason i ask is my cubes have been in the dome for about 5-6 days. they feel like they've lost some of the initial weight, but not too much.
