How Dmt has affected me

so theres alot of people who claim smoking dmt 1 time will permanently change you forever, i get ALOT of people who think they will smoke it once and are afraid that they are gonna be a totally different person, but it t you didntreally doesn't work that way,

The first time you do dmt ,enough to breakthru, it DOES show you something so far outside what you know about reality that you now permanently know that it exists. But the real big changes happen with a few times of use and the intent to learn from it and to try to understand what it's giving you.

The biggest thing for me is the complete loss.of fear of death. It took maybe 15 to 20 trips over the period of a couple weeks to understand why, dmt completely removes you from your body, as in you are completely unaware of anything physical you exist solely as energy and then begin to understand that even without my body I EXIST and that I in fact did exist before and will after this temporary physical manifestation.

The next thing would be enhancing my overall control and calmness in my day to day life. Once I did dmt a handful of times and i began to normalize to that extreme insanity, there weren't many situations in the physical world that would throw me off .

Helps figh try addictive tendencies. Ive dealt with addiction my whole.life, have 3 years. When im.sober most days go fine but maybe once every 4 or 5 months I wake up with these strong cravings to use something, and I will smoke dmt and it is ISTANTLY gone , when I was smoking it regularly I never had cravings, after years I began using it very rarely, but every few months ill get them.and smoking dmt 1 times instantly calms the craving and I can go another 4 to 6 months until I get another day and simply taking 1- 10 minute trip and I'm able to stay sober.

I have always loved psychedelics, and I beleive in their healing power 100% . Dmt kicked my.love Into overdrive and has completely shaped how I live my life today, helping people find the samethings i found.

And finally, the biggest effect dmt has made on me and my day to day life, I carry with me always the very humble understanding that I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING when it comes to the truth of what reality is

My opinion will be unpopular most likely. It is often so in real life.
I’ve had many friends obsessed with dmt. Some have tattoos of the molecules.
No one listens.
I dropped out of the psychedelic scene shortly before all of my peers moved on to dmt. Never done it. Did fuuuck tons of mushrooms on acid and went inside, but there’s nowhere else to go, so I called it. If you get what I mean. Now I just hang on.

Anyways several of the molecule tattooed friends who found faith in chemicals and “going inside” often have either suicided or are dragging along the bottom currently.

I believe those “meet the source” events can bring you closer and closer to death or one could say non existence you are so unafraid of. That final trip.

Not saying one should not go there once or twice in a lifetime, but remember
“There’s an ocean deep inside.. and you can drown in it”

There I’ve said my ol boomer uncle cautionary tale. go in peace.

Whatever it take to be happy . Our brains are so dam complex . If this stuff gave me any help or relief I'd be down to try . Just not needed atm. What an interesting chemical though really, the things I've read about are intriguing to say the least.

I believe the opportunity for a new perspective could perhaps be the most valuable part of a DMT experience. I have had about 10 over the passed 2 months, each one different. A few concepts came to me that I have been exploring. The first lesson I was taught was DMT is most definitely not a recreational substance. I think it is a tool, and should be respected and used as such. One “trip” focused on this topic alone. As I started to become more comfortable with it, it was almost as if I learned how to breathe all over again, or maybe even for the first time. It’s as if I have been traveling in warp speed for 33 years, and the very moment I “broke through” was the very first moment I felt like I stopped moving and was able to take a good look around me, Truly present in that moment. I keep waiting for that feeing to go away, but it hasn’t. What an incredible little molecule DMT is. I believe it could have very serious implications in addiction and PTSD therapy. The best way I can describe what I have been experiencing is like hitting the reset button. I have tried both Changa and Crystal, and contrary to what I have read, the Changa was what gave me the most profound experience. One trip was like someone was palming the base of my skull, and shooting electricity through it... Heavy Stuff bros. Surely not for everyone, but I am very grateful to have found it.

There is nothing else like DMT. You can "trip" on shrooms n acid, but DMT is much more than a trip. The fact that is naturally occurring in the pineal gland in the brain should tell us something. Just like we have natural THC receptors. They are there for a reason, they are like locks with one specific key to unlock them.

My DMT experiences have been a mixed bag. Some can be somewhat "dark" but it's ok because it's short lived, and I always learned something from it. The ones that had total enlightenment usually involved the true presence of a "being" or "energy source" if you will. I can totally see why the ancient tribes like the Mayans and also artist Alex Grey depicted such artwork. The fractals and absolute energy, especially "third eye" energy, are so present during a DMT session. The introspection and discovery of awareness are unmatched. I can totally see where it can be very therapeutic for many folks.
