I truly enjoy your step by steps of your artistic process. thank you for sharing your talents with all of us. who ever wins those is a lucky dog.
I have been carrying this compliment with me for a few days. I am the lucky dog, however I am not an artist this is part of my 10,000 hrs. thank you sir.
One of the requirements to become expert at something is to instruct others, to teach.
If you notice I numbered the pots.
3 for the contest are done but to make use of the kiln space and get a more consistent firing, it needs to be full. I need 6 pots to fill it. This is where we are at tonight.
That is pot no 5/6
This is the remaining clay
Unfortunately I need 3kg to make the pieces due to cutoff/waste.
The following will demonstrate the wedging technique a little better. I am mixing 2 colors of clay for the final pot of the series.
You can see air bubblea in this next one still.
Eventually it begins to come throgh the top like tree rings.
Untill it is consistent.
