OK, so my coco and perlite showed up, and have all been mixed.
Last question, at least for today  - Do I need to rinse off the rootball
that's been in soil, or just up-pot as normal into the coco/perlite mix?
Never went from soil to anything else before. Can they be mixed with
no repercussions? Off to walk the hounds now.

Rinse off the majority of the dirt, but you don't need to be meticulous. A small amount will just disappear into the medium.

You could probably get away with dropping the whole thing in there, but less dirt is better. It displaces coco/perlite, it gives pests a place to colonize that wouldn't otherwise exist, and it could even work it's way down and sludge up the reservoir.

I would say removing soil is under "good practices" as opposed to "vital tasks".

OK - There's talking and there's doing, and I'm all talked out.
Time to get to gettin' on this hempy bucket. Thanks to all for answering Q's. ?
In the words of Alfred E. Neumann, "What, me worry?" ?

I want to reiterate, this is my opinion and my experiences. I'm not an expert, I don't claim to be the holder of all knowledge hempy. This is informed opinion, not gospel.
I'll take your informed opinion over my blissful ignorance, ?.
I feel lucky to have dudes that will actually try and help me - I appreciate it so much.
I imagine it'll all work out fine. And if it doesn't, I'll just grow more! ??

Rained about 1/2" (1.27cm) last night, and the hempy stayed upright, and appears to have drained properly.
I was getting some leakage of perlite out the hole, so I "Redneck Tech'd" a screen to cover it.
In case you're wondering how sophisticated RT is, I staple gunned the screen to the bucket. Voila!
Can hardly tell I painted the bucket brown in these pics, but it looks pretty decent IRL.
Looks to also be revegging to these uneducated eyes.
And it also looks like I gots dog hair all over outside the house, as well as inside.

Looks like @HydroRed 's STS reversal spray is so good, even Hughie can't muck it up.
Looks like seeds forming up, but I don't exactly know what I'm looking at here. ?
Am I done spraying here, or do I continue?

Hempy bucket survived my wife's first trip to that sector of the yard.
She was preoccupied with our grandson, but she walked right by, and 10 meters away.
I will surely die a slow and painful death when she does see it.

Now I've been looking at the Twenty 20 Mendocino STS instructions, and they have me worried.

Should I have staggered the flowering of my females instead of flipping them
at the same time as my reversing plant? Are they going to line up correctly,
timewise, so that the pollen hits the females at the right time, or have I bunged it up?

I was under the impression that they could all just go together and it would
all time itself out properly so they females would get dusted at the proper time,
and I'm not real sure how I got that impression now.

Do I need to just sequester the reversing male, and grow out the females?
Am I going to miss the window for dusting the females now?

I've had a male get loose in the garden, and flower out before the females. You could collect the pollen and wait like two weeks and dust it ? I honestly don't know enough about selfing to answer this properly, but at the least you can collect it. Is the picture recent of the male organs ?

If they form the way they do on a regular male you've got some time before the acorns open.

When the tops look close to popping, top it put the cuts in water and parchment paper underneath. Save and store the first drop after proper drying. What is left of the lowers should be more than sufficient to pollenate whats left in flower and the plant will develop the lower bracts as well. One other thing is not all reversals freely drop pollen like a male. It varies from strain to strain sometimes the flowers have to be harvested, dried, crushed and sifted to collect the pollen.

Thanks, G, man! So, my plan was just to flip all six simultaneously and let the male pollinate all the girls in the closet.
What I'm getting here (dumb as a post and twice as inexperienced, I know) is that I can't count on that working out properly with a reversal.

I've been greenlit to flower out the LSD, Bermuda Triangle Haze, and 3 Sowah Grapefruits if the plan was faulty (and, really, what were the odds that it wouldn't be faulty? :ROFLMAO: ), so I guess what I'll do is just that: Sequester the reversed BTH, collect the pollen and save it, and flower out the 5 females.
Then, I'll get to start another, larger run on the heels of these girls.

I was beginning to worry about trying to clean the closet thoroughly after a pollination, anyway, so maybe this is for the best.
A small tent should be much easier to properly deal with than a closet with 9 ft ceilings.

Having made his decision, Hugh charges into the breech....

Bro don't be so hard on yourself when experimenting with something new. I mean you're a Southerner; you didn't Marry the first Woman you dated at the family reunion right?.... lol.

You're doing fine. I hope that Blue Cheese cross you're "totally gonna pop" is doing well too lol.

I'll have you know, Mitten Boy, that I started compiling my list for next month, and Blue Cheese x Punch Mamba is, indeed, on it.

Awwww a Cat :)

So, are you excited? Finally getting some Cheese going :) You know....With that pollen you have, you could do some Cheese dusting ! I imagine my first time will be not unlike this too because, well, let's face it; What else other than a Chem would be my first true project? LOL.

Had I met Doctor Who and could go back in time, other than needing bail money in England in the 80s for slapping ravers and running with Cheese cuts, I'd grab a cut from the male Sin City Juice, the Susie, and I'd grab a cut of my Fiona's Chem Cake, as those 3 together.... MAN it's potent!

No, not yet. I tend to start getting excited once they poke their little heads up and out of the dirt the first time.
Never had any cheese or cheese cross, to my knowledge. I don't have any pollen yet, but soon, hopefully. ?

I haven't ever had the Mamba one, but the Blue Cheese side of that should help stress test a carbon filter for you :)

You say that now. Wait until you have 47 tents for all your different projects and the wife is getting that crazy look in her eyes.
