The early summer and wood chips is a big one lol. Around same time as last year. But there was a lot more of them. I split wood a lot in fall and winter. Was wanting to put horse manure and straw over the area. See what I can get to pop lol

Was camping this weekend and came across these little guys under the leaves. Was going to try and look them up later.didnt know if any of you had any ideas?

Looks kinda like a Russula Emetica, or something similar to that species... which is toxic. Im not the best at id'ing wild, just look for certain markers

Ya I haven't seen a mushroom around here with that vivid of a color. There was a group of 3. More I looked more I found them. I left a group open and gotta head back and get the rest of my things and was going to see what it looks like now.

I think i found them. We have no evergreens in our woods. Bunch of oaks and hickory but black locust is almost every other tree. All the streams we have has tons of moss but these were on the bottom of a hill under heavy leaf cover.

Very similar, them seem to be larger. When I went back out the ones I uncovered was cooked.

Last couple days the woods have been a mushroom kingdom. Bunches of boletus, aswell as a bunch I havnt seen before.

Possible destroying angel

And this super photogenic snail that turned to the camera lol

Put a hell of a dent on that boletus...

From what I have read if it is a scarlet cup they are edible but so small they are of 0 interest. I'm not saying they are scarlet cups but what I have came up with. I'm not eating any of them....yet lol...well the morels are eaten but them are easy to id.
